This place is great but- There is so much stuff that it is actually hard to find the things that you are looking for. I also didn't notice signs to direct you to particular countries or even continents. The biggest problem with shopping here are the very tight aisles. If you see someone with a cart there isn't enough room to go around them. Checking out can be challenging for some because it is like a maze with all kinds of things in your way so you have to figure it out. They also have a lot of merchandise that you don't see it until you are on the way out.

Sadly, the Arcadia HMART and the one in Kearny Mesa didn't have the prepackaged oysters in a jar... POKE: Looks very fresh and surprising to see a poke section a the LV HMART. The ones in CA didn't have a poke section... TONKATSU RAMEN SNACK: 8/10 It's highly addictive and makes a great snack on the road. However, we enjoyed the original flavor more... PURPLE YAM: 10/10 It is delicious, nutritious and helps lower your HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE!!! Speaking from experience ;) FRESH WASABI: 10/10 That's the first time I've seen it sold at an HMART! AMBIANCE: 10/10 This HMart has a wide selection of kitchen ware and it's designed kind of IKEA where you would enter in one way and out the other kind of like a maze... LIVE SEAFOOD SECTION: It looks like you can walk up to it but, they closed it off. The dungeoness crabs are so fresh and I love it when they have daily dead crab specials because I don't want to kill anything in order to eat. I would rather let it die in peace and then consume it... SERVICE: Good Service. Everyone was busy and working hard plus minding their own business... HMart has a special place in my HEART!!!

We also take advantage of the "deli" for pretty decent Chinese food and some dim sum items. So today we arrived at around 8:20 had a wealth of close parking spots to choose from . We typically don't buy a lot of frozen prepared foods when we shop, but 168 has such a good supply of dumplings and the like we couldn't avoid buying a bunch. We bought the typical veggies, produce and the like. Hit up the dried noodle section as well as restocking our sauces and seasonings. We also hit up the bakery and got two loaves of their "special" bread. One loaf was their "side sliced" which means that they sell just the thin edge pieces all together in a loaf size package. So maybe not for everyone, but it makes great toast, thin and crunchy. Since we hadn't eaten a big breakfast, we took a number and ordered a combo meal, some congee and 4-5 dim sum items. Quick service, reasonable price and we actually had a pretty good brunchish meal. Authentic Cantonese and Mandarin with a touch of Szechuan ... not world class but good selection and certainly several steps above the typical fast Chinese food found at the panda places. (Didn't take pictures as we were too busy eating. By the way, the dining area was spotless. So all in all, filled up our shopping cart, had breakfast and out the door in an hour.

I went to SF Supermarket (Las Vegas Superstore) at 4801 Spring Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89102…read moreThursday, March 26, 2026 at a little after 9:00 in the morning. I pulled a grocery cart at the entrance of the store and headed for the produce. I chose my fruit then went to the meat section and didn't see anything I wanted. I continued to walk around the fish/seafood section and looked down some of the aisles. I found some items down a couple of the aisles, then I went back to the produce section to pick up more fruit. After that, I went to the checkout line, paid for my groceries, then put my bags of groceries into my grocery cart. I pushed my grocery cart to the area where the grocery carts are returned inside the store and put my groceries that I had just paid for into my two (2) large tote bags that I brought with me to the store. I don't drive and the store is conveniently located near my apartment complex, so I can walk to and from the SF Supermarket. My tote bags that I brought with me make carrying my groceries easier while walking. By the way, my two (2) tote bags stayed on my shoulder the entire time I was shopping until it was time to put my groceries in my tote bags. As I turned to walk towards the exit of the store to leave, an older Asian woman (I didn't get her name) surprised me because she was frantically talking to me and pointing to my tote bags. I couldn't understand what she was saying, but her actions indicated that she wanted to look in my bags. She wanted me to go to the counter at the front of the store to check my bags. I arrived at that conclusion because she continued to point to the counter at the front of the store and continued to point/look at my bags. While still at the grocery cart return area, I opened my two (2) bags and held them towards her so that she could look in them, but she walked away. I walked towards the front entrance while asking her again if she wanted to look in my bags, but again she kept walking. I asked her two more times if she wanted to check my bags and my receipt. She then turned right and walked between the checkout counters towards the back of the store. I believed she continued to walk away because she realized I hadn't stolen anything. What thief is going to open up their bags for review if they stole something. Or maybe she already knew I hadn't stolen anything, she just wanted to make my experience at the store a horrible experience so that I wouldn't return to the store. I wanted her to check my bags to prove that I wasn't a thief. I think she wanted to humiliate me because of the color of my skin. I've been in that store five (5) times and I've seen her (and others) watching me, and today she decided to approach me and accuse me of stealing. My routine was the same as it was the four (4) times I was there before, putting my grocery bags into my two (2) tote bags and either returning the grocery cart inside the store or outside the store where grocery carts are returned. I left the store.

Despite the positive aspects of this location we found the customer service to be lacking and the lack of activity in the parking lot should have been a sign of things to come once we were inside. I addition to the poor customer service we were overcharged on two items we caught and had to bring to their attention and get refunds and they acted like it was our problem we caught the overpricing error. While they had an excellent price on beer they could not sell it because "no one here has a ABC licenses"? Rather than have a sign indicating no alcohol purchases on the beer that day (02/23/2026), we were informed that they could not sell it because "no one here has a ABC licenses, which is a mystery given the establishment secures the licenses and not the staff. Nonetheless, there are a number of options for Asian markets in the area and while this one is convenient, convenience can't overcome poor customer service, being overcharged and their inability to sell their advertised products.

Some of the selections are quite authentic ... like chicken feet and deep fried little smelt fish or one dim selection that looked like white jello something. There other "normal" looking stuff too, like all the noodles and stir fries as well as I love the BBQ meats, like duck and BBQ pork and the deals they have on fried chicken! I got a bunch of food to go, and what we don't eat, I'm sure the guys on the crew will finish! I got some BBQ pork buns, BBQ pork spare ribs and fried chicken. I skipped the duck this time. All the food tasted wonderful as expected. The buns could have been warmer, but that's what a zap in the microwave is for at the hotel. We enjoyed the food and it was no hassle to get. Basically point and they get it for you, unless you speak Chinese!
