He's been helping me navigate with gel injections for my knees twice a year. He ha he'll me maintain mobility for the active lifestyle I have. Orthopedic specialist however, is not limited to just these 2 doctors. There is a host of them.....I think about 8 in the practice with all different specialties, and focused areas. Great Team!!! Get by there, if your struggling with joint pain. Pick out someone that can help navigate you to what you need to increase mobility.

He did not even make eye contact with us but a couple of times. I must have had 8-10 back spasms while being diagnosed yet he had his back turned to us the entire time. The statement my fiancé made that I was in such severe pain that he couldn't even touch me or hug me made no difference to him. The fact that I could barely sit, walk or stand and had to leave work early on several occasions or had fallen several times from them did not warrant any kind of muscle relaxers or pain medication. We were told he would have to do further diagnosis to make those kind of decisions. The Dr. / Patient relationship manner is inconceivably poor. He couldn't even remember my name. After being told by this "specialist" that he basically could not do anything after going over just normal X-rays,which they had to take several of, because they could not do them correctly the first time we had the door literally slammed in our faces. The imaging place they send you to for MRI's is extremely inept at returning phone calls. I must have called them 6 times and left a message to reschedule with no returned calls back. Specifically avoid ZumBrunnen at this office. I have lived in many states and I have had several sports injuries. I have seen many Orthopedic doctors and specialists and never have I ever received such negligent or poor care as I have here in Shreveport, LA. I will be continuing my care elsewhere.

I waited almost 2 hours and I still never saw Dr. Anglin. There was no communication with the front desk staff and nurses that he was running behind schedule when I checked in. My Obgyn office always gives a courtesy heads up if she is running behind or delivering a baby. If so, they offer to reschedule my appointment. When I finally asked at 1hr 15 min, they then said he was running behind. They finally get us into one of the rooms and we wait another 15 min for the nurse. Then another 10 for the X-ray technician. Then we wait another 15 min, still no doctor. I walked into the hall and asked for an update and his VERY rude nurse told me that she has waited 3 hours for an appointment. Really? Is that what I should expect? She said it in a way to make me feel like I was being completely unreasonable. Here's the deal.... if you can't see your patients within a reasonable amount of time, then maybe you shouldn't book so many appointments in a day.

Expressed to the nurse they would benefit from updating patients about the wait, only to be told that's the front desk's job. X-ray tech asked if I'd been waiting long, and when I replied, "yes, very", she and her colleague just discussed that it had been a long day. Not one person apologized for the wait. I understand that things happen, but a little respect for patients' time and a simple apology would go a long way. There were three of us in the waiting room with the same complaints.
