Good Will has certainly become a Laughing stock of thrift stores nationwide. The CEOs make millions of dollars every year selling stuff they were given for free. Stuff that should be sold for pennies on the dollar is being flipped for almost new prices. You can't get a bargain anymore at the thrift store. It gets worse. Good Will even goes as far as to sell trash and old sea shells. They had old plastic cups without lids that came from a restaurant. Who ever decided to donate these really should've thrown them away. They also were trying to sell a sea shell from the shore! You can literally find one of these for free if you just walk a few feet on the beach. They weren't asking a nickel for it. They had the audacity to ask $2 for it. What a joke. My husband and I left laughing. People should seriously consider boycotting this place. read more

This was the worst thrift so far. All of the framed paintings and pictures were jarred next to one another so tight they were causing damage to one another and impossible to even pull out to look at the artwork. Other boo boo's were the price stickers were marked at inopportune spots on the merchandise making it impossible to analyze some of the merchandise. Very surprised that there was a line forming at the door on a Sunday morning prior to opening. If you're looking for a great find at this spot I wish you luck and please post about it if you do. We had a really good experience at Goodwill I did buy maybe five or six things and I'm very happy with them

A box of treasured items was mistakenly brought to this Goodwill by a family member after the death of a relative. I went back to the Goodwill to retrieve the box that was inadvertently given away. The staff could not find the box but told me that they would search for it and contact all of the other Goodwill stores in their area to see if they came across it. I left the store fearing that I would never see those family keepsakes again. But by the time I got home, I received a phone call from the manager of the store telling me that they had located the box and was waiting for me to pick it up. I turned my car around and drove back 45 minutes to the Goodwill and was greeted by the staff who seemed genuinely pleased that they were able to accommodate me and return these lost items. Everyone was very sweet and concerned that I get back what was promised to my son before the death of my relative. My sincere thanks again to the manager whose name I do not recall and the staff that made good on their word!!! read more

Don't know why other reviewers are so negative. I tell people that I have a PhD in thrifting since I do so much of it. I. have been to an astonishing number of thrift and consignment stores worldwide. At home, I find the Warminster Goodwill meets my needs for "retail therapy".. Friendly, helpful staff, reasonable pricing with weekly discounted items, some up to 50% off based on the color(s) of the week, nice quality clothing (including many designer labels), good selection of home goods. Pros: large, clean, good selection, free loyalty program gives you discounts on different color barbs/stickers depending on day, will send you coupons if in loyalty program. Cons: They get a lot of unopened items from Target, and sell them at the same prices Target was selling them at. I don't know who on earth is going to buy that stuff. They need to drop the prices if they want to see stuff move. And overall, they can just be a bit overpriced on clothing and bric-a-brac, unless you dig and get lucky. Also, like many Goodwills, I am noticing the trend to organize things by color (clothing and bric-a-brac). What an awful way to organize clothing. Makes it 3x as hard to find stuff in your size, because you have to look through the WHOLE rack (except maybe the yellow and orange clothing -- no one wears that sh_t). :) read more

Thumbs up! It was clean, pretty big, and I guess I came in at a good time because there were more employees than shoppers:) It was a little hard to find sizes since the clothes are organized by color, but at the same time I was looking for articles of clothing of certain colors. However, there is a juniors section! My most expensive item was a north face jacket for $5.50. I got 4 pairs of dress pants (banana republic and Ann Taylor), one of which still had the tags on them. My bill was $20ish. I really like the reusing and recycling of goods and that the money goes back into the community:) read more

This place used to have interesting stuff for a moderate price. They still have interesting stuff but charge way too much now. I actually found more than a few items that are priced above what you can buy from a retail store. They stock levels on the shelf reflect that you are charging too much as the shelves are overflowing with items. read more

I shopped at the Warminster location today. No complaints with the store, other than prices are a tad on the high side on many items. The staff, however, is incredibly incompetent. I waited at a register for over twenty minutes to be told finally that the piece of furniture I wanted to buy was not available, even though it was out on the sales floor, not marked sold, and not logged in the 'furniture book'. This was after the one employee was having a meltdown and making customers uncomfortable, while another made up every excuse/scenario she could think of, while another came out to make the final decision. Meanwhile eight people ended up in line behind me, while no one else came to help them. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Pretty impressive Goodwill-- it's big, keeps great hours, and has some quality items. On my first trip, I got a pair of barely-worn Levi's, a Gap shirt in great shape, and a pretty beaded clutch in perfect condition. I had pretty good luck finding stuff on my second trip, too, but the line was SO LONG and moving SO SLOWLY, that I just put my findings back and left (I had a headache and wasn't about to stand in line for 15 minutes). While a lot of their donors keep the store in gently-worn mid-level duds from the likes of Gap, Banana Republic and Ann Taylor, they don't have much vintage to offer. Other shortcomings include accessories like belts and jewelry-- both fine and costume. Overall though, this Goodwill is good for some basics. read more

Rude. I found a chair that I wanted to purchase. I was told as long as I had the customer tag NO BODY could buy it and I should keep it upfront by the register. When I came up to pay for my chair a few minutes later the cashier said I already sold that chair. I said you couldn't have sold my chair I have the tag she sold it even though I had the tag. The manager and two other women huddle together whispering and just looking at me over the shoulders that went on for a while. I could hear them saying you shouldn't of done that etc. etc. but they kept huddling together ignoring me and not coming over and talking to me about it. I kept waiting to at least hear an apology and pay for the rest of my things but that wasn't happening. So I left. I wanted to keep the chair in my cart but they said no need for that. Don't trust them they're rude they don't really care about their customers. I won't be going back again there are so many better thrift shops than that stinky dump. read more

I read a lot of the reviews saying that prices were really high in the Warminster Goodwill....but I still decided to stop in because I thought how high can the prices really be in a Goodwill? The reviewers are not kidding...the prices were astronomically high. They are trying to charge more than retail for a lot of the items. Seems like Warminster Goodwill is greedy. They need to adjust their business plan and realize that shoppers are "in the know" of what items should cost and will not buy things that are way over priced when they can go to Home Goods, TJ or Marshalls and get brand new items for less. Maybe why Goodwills shelves are filled. All that needs to be done to have the prices reduced is everyone boycott them for two weeks....that will make them see the light and drop the prices to what they should be for used items. The worst part is the items that they price high and then don't sell...end up in the big garbage cans. Would it not be better to price fairly, move merchandise and make an adequate profit...or is it the people working there don't want to see anyone else get a good deal. Reading other reviews of how rude the employees are .... I think it's the latter. read more

Nice stuff, but super expensive compared to other thrift stores in the area. Even more expensive than most goodwills. Saw items from target priced higher than target. Who wants to pay $6.97 for a thrift store frame? Crazy. read more

After reading the previous writer's review regarding a chair, I wanted to add my own experience which goes back to late October. There was a cool acrylic skull in the store that I wanted to buy. I don't recall the exact price but it was at least $100. When I asked why so pricey, the staffer told me it was a REAL skull, an artifact! Baloney! I pointed out to him that it was acrylic and I offered $20. i Googled the brand and found on-line a similar skull for $15. He refused to let me buy it because he said if they hold out till closer to Halloween, they would no doubt get a better price. I asked for a manager. He said he was a manager, but he would need to speak with the day manager regarding my offer. He promised to hold the "skull" in the office and call my cell in a few days. never heard another word!! read more

Like all goodwill/thrift stores it's hit or miss with stuff. The prices were on par with other charity thrift stores. However the shop or selection there isn't the best I've seen. Just not as much stuff as other stores I've been to. Also, physically there was some awful glare with the overhead lighting which made it hard for me to look at some of the stuff. Though in contrast, I must give props to the clean restroom this shop had. read more

A very good chain of thrift stores. They mainly focus on clothing and bric-a-brac. But they carry home stuff and kids stuff too. They don't have as many movies as impact! has, but they carry an awful lot of children's books. I'll be back! read more

i shopped at this goodwill since it opened. it is now pathetic, i really do not know how they even stay afloat in warminster. the shelves are over flowing with over priced junk. can buy new cheaper. the clothes are all out dated as of today, tops are $4.50, most should be $1.00. thrifting used to be fun, but when you go to a place like this goodwill, it becomes more of a joke and it is time to go up the street to ross. no longer interested in this type of thrift store that is over charging on everything. makes no sense to me as a educated shopper. read more

Kind of weird to write a review of a thrift store, but this place seems to have gone a bit downhill. First off, I'm a guy, so my opinion may be a little different. I stop in once in a while, but never really find what I'm looking for here. Most of the clothing I find is old pairs of "Old Navy" or "Route 66" brand pants, and random junky T-shirts that you would get for free at a promotional event. The worst part is things are organized by color, not size. This makes it easier for the employees, but a pain when I'm trying to find a pair of pants that is somewhere near my size. They seem to have a much broader selection of clothing for women. They also got rid of, or don't really restock the electronic/electrics area. So unless you are looking for a "Year 2000" countdown clock or a pack of half-exploded AA batteries, there really isn't much here. Furniture is very cheap though, which is a plus, and there is a decent selection of books. The store is also kept fairly clean. read more
