THE BEST GOODWILL EVER!!!! I've gone to multiple goodwills and in wealthy locations and usually leave left disappointed or with little to no clothes. BUT that never happens at this goodwill :))) I grew up coming to this goodwill as long as I can remember with family and it makes me happy I can go here and reminisce on good ol' memories while finding amazing clothes. The customer service is peek as well. If they notice you have clothes in your hand they will hunt down the next empty cart for you and bring it to you without even asking. The clothes is sorted by color which makes it easier to find what you're looking for. I can tell they don't just put up any clothes, it feels like they hand select what clothes is worthy of going up on the rack. They also have a variety of sizes and name brands. They pick up the clothes on the floor constantly so it's never messy or dirty in the store. I enjoy the clothes they put on the mannequin as well, they have a sense of fashion. I also noticed the managers respect their employees and talk to them in a respectful manner when giving them tasks to do. Sheral was also very helpful at checkout, she put my clothes away neatly and didn't ball it up. I even got to meet the manager Flow who was so sweet and inviting. Her energy really lightens up the store. She said hello to everyone who walked through the door with a big smile. Only negative but this is about ALL goodwills is that nothing should be over $8 especially when the store runs off of FREE supplies aka donations. At this store I didn't notice any unfair pricing for items that weren't clothes. Edit: The VP of Sale for Goodwills messaged me to inform me of good news. Every $1 spent, 89 cents go towards a program so they are doing a good will in this world:)

Always such great finds at this goodwill. Such nice customer service too

Such great finds always. And incredible customer service. I definitely recommend this goodwill if you're ever near the area

Price tag from 99 cent store is $1.99. Goodwill is trying to sell it for $2.99.

Goodwill is supposed to be helping the less fortunate people. Their pricing has gone out of control. This plastic plate was from the 99 Cent store. 99 cent store sold it for $1.99. Goodwill is trying to sell it for $2.99. So much of the stuff is overpriced. You can get it new for the same price. Also The manager named Florence is very rude to customers. One time I went in around 7:30 and she said "You know we close at 8 right" in a very sarcastic way. I go in this store often and she is always like this.

This has served as my donation center for the past several years. I'm a minimalist, so anything that has no use gets donated. Hence, I donate often. This place is hassle free. I just drive to the back of the building, bring up my donations to the warehouse, and they issue me a receipt. And being an independent contractor, those tax write-offs are awesome. The staff has always been friendly. They are accurate in the receipts they give me, and kindly let me know what items they cannot accept. For whatever they cannot accept, I either toss it in their dumpster, or I take home and recycle.

Since that time it has remained one of the best go-to spots for thrifting in the area. Of all the thrift shops in the South Bay, undoubtedly Savers never ceases to amaze. As can be expected, this thrift store offers all of the things you would expect to find: clothing, shoes, books, records, toys, kitchenware, electronic items, and pretty much everything else you can think of. Plus, they are constantly stocking new items, so every time you go in to this business you're guaranteed to see something new. I know a lot of people talk about the prices at this thrift store. For pretty much all of the items I find them to be very reasonable. In fact, you can truly find some one of a kind items for incredible prices. In terms of the clothing, yes, they are a bit high in their pricing compared to other thrift store chains. For some people, they may not want to spend $12.00 to $20.00 for say a used shirt. Though this is not always the case, a lot of their clothing is fairly expensive. This is just something to keep in mind if you haven't been here before. If you're going to be shopping for clothing at Savers, you've pretty much have got to expect to pay the top dollar for it in terms of the used market. This is a necessarily bad or good, and it isn't a criticism, it's just the way Savers operates. Overall, this is a truly good shop. I can't say enough about this place and the staff here are always super nice and friendly. Overall, it's one of my favorite places to thrift. You never know what you're going to find. I know I have found some truly incredible items at this store.

They have tons of a little bit of everything. They have tons of women's clothing, tons of men's clothing, tons of T-shirts, and a whole lot of shoes. Really! A lot of shoes! The store is what I would say is a step above shopping at a thrift store. What they do here is, offer the best of the best of vintage clothing. So, when you go in here, you know you're going to find high-quality items. This is not to say that they're cheap. For some, their prices may be considered a little bit high. But, again, what you're getting is the best of the best of vintage clothing, and sometimes you have to pay for that privilege. Depending on what you're looking for, this store may very well have it. From my experience, this store is most commonly geared towards a younger audience. They have tons of T-shirts, jeans, and a lot of stuff that could be considered on the more casual side of the picture. For example, when I shop a vintage store, I'm commonly looking men's sport coats and suits, and stuff along that line. They really don't have a good selection of these items. This is just something to keep in mind if you're looking for that kind of thing. But, on the other hand, if you're looking for all of the more casual style of clothing, they have a lot of it. Located on Hawthorne Boulevard, this store is fairly easy to find. They have a parking lot in the front and the rear, which sometimes can become kind of full. So, you may have to park on the street. This is because of the fact this store is a very popular shop. A lot of people come here, particularly on the weekends. And, when they have their sales, forget about it. The store is packed. One way or the other, if you're looking for that vintage piece of clothing, that really cool something, that T-shirt that you've been looking for forever, that pair of really cool shoes, or whatever else, this may be your place to find it.

Over the past year, l've noticed a big improvement in how things are run, and I truly think the new store manager deserves credit for that. In previous years, when I brought in clothes to sell, my experiences with some of the buyers felt very unprofessional, in fact I had multiple bad experiences with one of the female buyers that I notice still works there. She was very rude and condescending and now when I come in to sell I specifically don't want her to attend me. However, this year has been a completely different story. The newer buyers seem much better trained, more organized, respectful, and clear in how they take care of their customers. The whole process feels smoother and more customer-focused now, which makes a huge difference. In fact, today I had a question about the pricing of some of my items and the new store manager was very helpful and I left feeling very happy! Because of these positive changes, I actually look forward to bringing items in again, and I feel more confident in the process when working with the newer staff. So, there are definitely trendier items here and clothes are organized based on different trends as well (Y2K, designer, vintage, etc). I like the openness and brightness of the store. It resembles its other location in LA. I like that the racks aren't overcrowded with too many items so you can actually slide the coat hangers and look at the items. I got 2 jackets and culotte pants from here. Each were $12.99. The store was very nicely organized and even had an armchair to lounge on. The shoes were in good condition. The bad: I saw several tops with holes, snags or frayed fabric. They don't have healthcare worker discounts like the thrift shop across the street has. The interesting: You can bring in 5 items at a time in the fitting room. One of the workers at the register was on her phone a lot but perhaps she was looking up values/prices of the clothes she was labeling? They do buy clothes here.
