I've got to agree with the other 2 "currently not recommended" reviews. I am visiting the Siouxland area from back east and always enjoy supporting local Goodwill Stores along my way. I've probably been in hundreds of Goodwills across America. I visited 7 of the 22 stores of the so called "Goodwill" of the Great Plains. I must have gotten spoiled with good manners and common sense back home in Pennsylvania and at all the other Goodwills I've visited because I've never encountered a group of people quite like this. From belligerent cashiers to screaming managers up to "Mary" the corporate receptionist and beyond, the unprofessionalism and rudeness filters down from the top to the lowest levels. To be fair, a few of the employees were nice but the majority were standing around on un-vacuumed floors, the bathrooms at more than one location were disgusting and the racks were packed with so many old and outdated clothes that you had no room to slide them and look. The used clothes they thought was expensive were marked up close to new store bought prices. It's sad to see an origination that preaches goodwill to treat its customers and employees this way. Besides, don't they get all that stuff they mark up for free? Seriously, save your time and money and avoid this area. read more
