My name is Ivan Neal and I have been in hospitality for over 25 years. I have left a bad review after our first time frequenting this Goodwill but have left good reviews as well. The times we have come recently it has been more customer service based.
Tonight I had to make this review as the cashier Misty was not what we have been used to recently. First when we walked in the door you could kind of see her huff and look at her watch. It was only 6pm at this time. We looked around the store and then we we were finished we walked up to the counter. Nobody at the register which is understandable as you can tell they are working instead of just standing behind a register but I shouldn't have to scream hello to get acknowledged at the counter. I had been standing there for 5 minutes.
Needless to say Misty said I will be there shortly. As she finishes what she is doing, she comes to the register no hi no hello, she is looking at her watch rings up the merchandise that we brought to the counter, sniffles, tells us the amount, takes our money and gives us our change with absolutely no exchange of words.
Does that sound like "Good Will"? If you aren't happy with your job, if you don't like people, if you aren't feeling well, at least show some effort. I mean anybody could've walked out of the store with merchandise as your employees aren't paying attention to guests in the store.
I suggest a bell or something that a customer can get their attention instead of me having to make the first greeting and the only greeting from your employee. read more
