Was able to pick up a few of my needs here which was awesome because I'm only here temporarily.

The pros: clean, spacious, smells nice because of the coffee shop inside. Cons: no fitting rooms. Seriously? We drove almost two hours because we heard about how wonderful this place was (on social media) only to be told there were no fitting rooms and they have a 30-day return policy and you can get...store credit. There were 2 mirrors in the whole place, so we tried on clothes over the clothes we came in wearing, but it was not ideal. Whose idea of a good business decision was this? Also, there were exactly the same kinds of things here as there are at the thrift stores near my house. Not worth the drive! read more

Goodwill - Rockingham - Huge Goodwill in an old grocery store - Thrift Stores Near Me - Rockingham, North Carolina

I stopped at this goodwill store on my way back from CVS. I was surprised to see such a huge open space place. I think the building was a grocery store that went out of business. The square footage is Real. You walk in and you see a petite coffee shop. There's a computer area where you can work, I think. All of the clothing items are arranged by colors. You can clearly see just what you're looking for. The racks and shelves aren't overpacked. They even have an area fully stocked with computer Essentials. Everything you need for a small work space. I found a few good finds in my venture there. I'll definitely have to bring momma to check out this hidden gem. read more

All the workers here are great! Store is clean, but when we visited on Monday shelves were empty.

Clean store. Merchandise is well displayed. Huge store but only a little more than half utilized. After 3 days, merchandise is supposed to go half price. I purchased 6 items that should have been half off but the cashier rang everything up at full price. I checked and asked on 2 of the items, which she priced approximately but I didn't realize until the next day, when I was removing stickers, that I had 4 other items that should have been discounted. Very disappointed. Every dollar counts. read more

The manager Misty at this store is very rude and should not even be a manager. I saw her jumb on to a senior couple who pulled up to the door to unload a wheel chair and person . All handicapp parking taken. She ran outside and started waving her arms like a mad women screaming at the elder driving..you can not park here.. he tried to explain he was just unloading the chair n his wife n was going to park. Misty was screaming at this poor old soul ..no your not. You can not do this. The man him self was very frail as was his wife. He loaded back up the wheel chair with great diffculty and they left. Misty needs to be held accountable for her actions. She bullies customers and employees all the time. My family and I will no longer go back to that store as long she is employed there. So many people in the area refuse to even donate to that store because of Misty. Once word gets out how she treats the seniors in this area.. many more people will not go to this store. There are alot more stores in this area that take donations and treat people with respect that we can take are dontions to. read more

After moving to NC recently the thrift stores in Fayetteville are terrible. Made the drive today. And was really impressed. Clean, I found several things to take home with me, and most importantly they had fairly marked prices which I've noticed is rare at goodwill these days. (The cafe is no longer here) I'll definitely make the house drive occasionally. read more

I am here specifically to ask why an employee would lie about the criteria for the senior citizens discount? I was there yesterday a little after 5:30 and was told a short, red head in a blue collar shirt that you had to be over 61 to qualify for the discount. My daughter and I both called individually to be told the age was 55. Not sure what the point of lying was but I won't be back. read more

I was hoping it was as good as people had said it was, but it was lacking. The store was put together nicely, but honestly it was the same goodwill just in a bigger building. I won't be traveling there again any time soon. Just wasn't worth it read more

This goodwill is so incredibly organized by color and section it's very pleasing to the eye. The racks of clothing also were wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair to go through. I did not see a changing room. The bathrooms were clean and the stalls and the bathrooms had a door that went all the way down to the floor for excellent privacy. There is a coffee shop inside that we wanted to go to however they close at 4 PM Saturday we were sorry to miss it. read more

I've been to alot of Goodwill stores over the years. This is hands down the best I have ever been to. Great selection & friendly, helpful staff. I go at least once a week. I'm not a compulsive buyer at all but I always find something;) read more

We drove a couple hours out of our way on a recent trip to go to this new Goodwill. I could have spent days inside! Wish I lived closer.

Overpriced for the quality... My local small town goodwill has better brands and prices. We drove 3 hours for this and extremely disappointed. HUGE building, not much stuff.. especially stuff worth the 3 hour drive. read more

Hardly any selection of electronic anymore. Main reason I drove a hour here. Xbox's accessory and n console gone. No laptop like before. Just out dated desktop that way to high for a goodwill deal. read more

This goodwill is a joke,it should be a clothing store,it has one wall of glass where,no baskets,most of the things are broken,someone old bathroom candles that should be thrown away.you can go across the street at Walmart and get a new one for the same price.A joke.....Things are price to high........For a goodwill..........I would have to rate it very poor.Look at all the goodwill on Facebook,Take a page from them and do a better job.I talked to a lot of people about that Store and they will not be coming back,SAD......Try to get more Glass were,and Baskets, and pictures.
