Love that there is a hole-in-the-wall style book store in little ol' Wooster. It's just one of many…read moreshops that really "make" this little town. This shop has two floors packed to the brim with about any kind of book imaginable. An entire children's section, foreign language books, old collectors books, and more. If you wanted to put together a bookshelf full of classics that actually look like classics in worn, brown leather binding you could definitely get your start here. There is every section you expect from a book store. An extensive collection of fiction starting at the front of the store, with classics and nonfiction in the back and upstairs. The children's section is also upstairs. There are a few places where you can sit and read. This being a primarily used book store, you can sell and trade too. Highest dollar is given for nonfiction, with hardbacks being at the top of that list. You can sell your books outright with no obligation to use the money as credit only. However, like with most trade-in places, you will typically get more value if you apply it in credit than if you take it in cash. Absolutely worth a visit, even if you're just looking to browse the day away in town.

The service was really nice. There are a lot of older books and not as many newer books. I did think that the sections were well organized and alphabetized so it made it easier to search through. Most all of the books were in great condition and most that I looked at were new. There were also new releases, posters, and most every genre including a great selection of manga. There also is a second floor which may be dedicated to a children's area; not positive as I didn't go up there. I am always on the lookout for old books as in 70-plus years, but not a whole lot in that department here as far as sorted items. There was a big stack of aged books but not catalogued. Believe me, I would have gladly pulled up a stool and reviewed the entire stack but as is often the case, the impatient husband was waiting in the car so I couldn't prolong my visit. I did grab a great sci-fi classic by Isaac Asimov; the book is pretty beat up but one dollar! Also spotted a tote bag featuring cats and books so that went home with me for sure. There are places to sit if you want to chill and read for a while. The lady behind the counter indicated that I could contact them for any old books I am searching for. Happy that they have Sunday hours and looking forward to a future visit.
