I once liked this thrift store, but I have had two very negative experiences and do not plan to…read morereturn. While this is in a very convenient location, I prefer to go to stores that have considerate employees. The first incident involved an employee banging on the fitting room door and yelling that I must come out immediately. I had taken a small cart in the fitting room not knowing that it was not allowed. Baskets are fine but not carts. I apologized and stated that I would be out as soon as I could. This was met with continuous banging and more yelling. I quickly finished dressing and opened the door to find the employee angrily waiting and continuing to yell about the store policy. Embarrassed, I left my cart of potential purchases with her and left the store. The second incident involved trying to make a donation. It was during store hours and during the time that donation are accepted. But, because it was close to the end of their hours the person collecting the items reminded me of the time stating it was ALMOST to the time that they would not accept donations for the day. Because they were so disrespectful, I left without making the donation and took my carload of items to another organization where they appreciate people making donations. There are many choices around town and I will go where people are kind and considerate.

They are constantly updating stock which includes yard art, tools, wall hangings, hunting decoys, some furniture, and a lot of ceramic collectibles, knick-knacks, and artistic objects. And they have two cute pups! They are situated on the US 12 Heritage Garage Sale route, which is held annually and is 200 miles long.

This is in the same place where the Kalamazoo Farmers Market is. I actually found out about it…read morethrough Nonla Burger's Instagram account, and since I was in town this weekend my friends and I decided to check it out. It was HOT when we went (about 90 degrees out) but the market has some nice shaded areas. There were a lot of vendors selling true vintage things (clothing, typewriters, records, etc.) and a few selling homemade things. I ended up buying a small Alice in Wonderland purse (clutch-sized) for $12 which I really liked. There were also a few food vendors on site - that day (8/5/18) there was Nonla Burger, plus a kebob stand and one other small food truck. We also had ice cream from Red Trike Ice Cream and that was super tasty. 4 stars instead of 5 from me because the bathroom situation could be better (they have Womens and Mens bathrooms by the "Office" area, which is in the middle of the market) ... apparently during the Farmers Market they have more of an indoor bathroom area though. Regardless of the weather, this was a fun time and I'd go back again when in the area.

I have recently found several items that have been marked over from a cheaper price to a more expensive price. This is just plan tacky. If you are going to price it higher, remove the old tag.
