I was at the shelter many times bringing donated food and visiting with staff and residents and I also was a volunteer. I was an RN for 40 years and I have never witnessed staff with such genuine caring, generosity and true Christian hearts. Jennifer Bero, Executive Director and her support staff and Rena Idleburg, Shelter Manager and her staff bend over backwards to accommodate the needs of the residents, extend their time at the shelter if needed, provide Advocates and Bible study classes and anything that is needed for these lovely young ladies and their children to become independent in their lives and have God's Grace wherever they go. Despite all the challenges working with the homeless can bring, this staff always meets it with professionalism, calm and kindness. If you want a worthy non-profit to support this is the one!

I contacted A and A Critters who referred us to their pest division, Matt's, about an insect…read moreproblem. Matt himself responded right away and I was able to quickly get an appointment. We apparently tracked in fleas from outside where many dogs are walked close to our door, because our inside cat of several years suddenly had fleas, never seen before. Despite treating the cat directly with topical and oral meds, we kept finding them, along with what looked like eggs, when using a flea comb. I was horrified and after researching learned we needed to treat the environment. Matt explained the type of products they would use and what to expect, and the tech was great about communicating when on the way about his arrival time . We were still seeing a couple fleas and eggs a few days later and although I know the cycle can take a few weeks to break I was concerned, as some areas had not been treated. I contacted the office and they were responsive and courteous. Matt reached out with some info and they had the tech return to both retreat with another product and treat some new areas. I know that my stress was showing (having to wash every area rug, blanket, throw, pillow, sheet, anything fabric in hot water and dry it on high to kill the eggs and I was doing laundry round the clock) but the office, Matt and the tech remained patient and empathetic and never made me feel like I was a bother. After the second treatment we haven't seen any further evidence of fleas - but if we did, I know the service is guaranteed. Matt's Pest provided prompt, courteous, professional and effective service. I definitely recommend them!

His education in this industry coupled with his experience, makes me feel confident that any pest or bug problem I have can be resolved with this company. I had him spray for carpenter bees, and also set some traps for the pesky squirrels that had gotten into my attic. He also sealed out my house a great service to have if you have a lot of squirrels and live in a wooded area. I highly recommend Matt and his company for any pest control problems. You may have!
