Blonde employee with glasses was very rude to us for no reason. Yelled at us for something we didn't even do. Do not come to this store

So, went in and bought an entire cart full of items. Wanted to put the items that wouldn't fit into a box in a plastic bag and the store staff wouldn't give me EVEN ONE PLASTIC BAG FOR THE SEVERAL ITEMS THAT DID NOT FIT IN THE BOX. They are absolutely ridiculous. Begged for ONE USED PLASTIC BAG and they refused saying that "other people need bags." I'm a person too you jerks. read more

From overpriced items with no real value to amazingly rude employees (no really shockingly) this Goodwill has made me swear off the franchise. There isn't anything interesting to find at this location. And I have been to a few across Minnesota. read more

This is one of the cleanest and most organized Goodwills I've ever been in. I mentioned this to a couple of the staff, who beamed at the compliment and seem to take a lot of pride in their store. I live in the Twin Cities but am in Mankato often, so I try to stop by to both donate and shop while I'm in town. As a note regarding all Goodwill stores, I wish they would use price tags that are easier to remove, or at least put them in a less conspicuous spot on the item. I understand why they want the stickers firmly attached, but I've had difficulty in removing the goo from some of my purchases. read more

As a college student, I have stopped here many times to pick up a seasonal item or apartment needs. The staff was very friendly at this location and seems to be a lot of college students as well, but they are very competent. This particular time, I was picking up a fake Christmas tree! They had a ton to choose from, to my surprise and a employee was in the area so I asked him how the pick up works. He was very friendly and ended up being the one that brought it out to my car in the back by the donation center. The staff is friendly, and the items are updated and various. We love the amount of hand-made pottery items available. The drop-off donations staff is very friendly and convey appreciation. We make it a point to stop by this store when we are in Mankato. read more

I was disappointed. I am not from the area, but after shopping at other thrift store in the area I have to say this one was very pricey. Not really any more organized than any other thrift store either. Found a shirt I liked...until I saw it was almost $15. Just a plain men's tshirt with stains or not will be $4 and up unless you shop on special 50% off days, which is usually Sundays and Monday's (colors rotate) still $2 for a use tshirt is not my idea of a deal. Just bought a piece of furniture and was going to pick up later in the afternoon. They called and said that the piece was accidentally donated and that they would refund my money but I couldn't pick up the piece of furniture. I asked them to send me a check since i lived 10 miles away and they said per their policy, I needed to pick up the refund in the store. Horrible customer service!!! Very overpriced too!! read more
