Each member of the visiting nursing staff was cordial, compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to my friend's needs throughout the transition, and her knowing that she would pass on in familiar surroundings contributed to a much more calming and comfortable experience than if she had been in a hospital or a hospice facility. Several times during the experience at very odd hours, we called Arkansas Hospice for advice or assistance, and the assigned hospice nurse showed up quickly and with a caring and concerned demeanor each and every time. I can not think of one single thing that Arkansas Hospice could have done better to make a very difficult period as comfortable as possible not only for our beloved friend, but for her care team of family and friends as well. Checkout took forever. The line was 3/4 to the back wall. They finally opened 2 more registers! My…read moreitem was $5.49. I gave her $20.50. She wanted to give me the .50 back. I explained I wanted $15 back. Then I got asked to round up! They did have Pennies so, yes, I will round up. Just get me out of here! When she got my change it was 2-5s and 4-1s! Ugh! Good thing I checked. I had to explain that I needed another $1. Of course she couldn't just open the drawer. I had to wait for her to ring up the next person. Lots of clothes. Very little household items or furniture. I am from out of state so will never return here. It is hard to find good help, I realize!

Evidently no one in this neighborhood wears Levi's jeans, nice luggage, or luxury brand shirts. Or, maybe they just throw them away because I do see many people walking around with these things. Or is it that everything desirable never hits the sale floor because it goes straight to the website. After looking at Goodwill's website, I'm convinced that's exactly what is happening. If you're looking for good deals, this is not the place. If you want the low quality cheap used items You'll love this place. I'm very disappointed. I went out of my way to come here.
