The attendant a black girl in her 20s was really rude to me, I was like sorry im bleeding heavily i apologised and she just immediately went into the restroom and started spraying down the toilet and mopping the floor. i wasn't done useing the restroom i needed to change clothes so while she was hurrly cleaning the restroom I ended up having to use the mens restroom for changeing my clothes. She was basically rude, in the way she entered the bathroom right after me. So, i was like hey how are you i was being friendly ... wheres a good place to eat " She was like dont even talk to me, I am heated and i was like uhh okk.. She was honestly just so rude to me.. ya know i didn't do anything wrong here I wasnt' as tidey as i could have been cuz i was just profusely bleeding and its not like the place was busy she could have given me a chance to finish useing the restroom before cleaning like crazy honestly she like rushed in there and was just so hastily cleaning and angry so quickly I asked her about a good place to eat since i am from oklahoma city .. And she just basically told me to shut up dont talk to her.. She didn't care why i was bleeding hard she didn't ask if i was ok... She was to busy being mean and angry and rude to care about anyone but herself. Super rude to someone who wasn't doing anything wrong... Simply trying to wash laundry like anyone else... and yeah i was bleeding heavily from a medical condition. and i did try to clean up after myself i wasn't just untidey if that makes any sense i am human I dont deserve to be treated with hate and disrespect anger disgust simply for a medical condition. or being human thats descrimination and ignorance if you ask me If it were me in that situation id of asked the person if they were ok medically needed help i might have given him her longer to use the restroom and wouldn't have just rushed in immediately and i deifnatly wouldn't have been told a customer to shut up and dont talk to me.. Even when I knocked over my water container and we mopped the floor. Large washer, $4.50, dryers were .50 cents to start and you could add quarters. Clothes were clean and completely dry. The location is easy to access, very clean and they take quarters. I will not use a place that takes tokens, since I very rarely use the same place twice.

Since I…read morenever check my bags and travel light, I usually try to do a load of clothes at least once during a trip. The shuttle driver rode me over to the Fun Wash. Let me say it was a trip. I especially enjoyed viewing the old-fashioned iron pressing machine. I threw my clothes in and looked around. The facility was clean and well-run. The laundry lady attendant ran a tight ship. One customer took off her shoes and the attendant was ragging on her that "she ain't at her house and to put on her shoes." Other than one other cracker doing her wash, I was in the minority here fa sure! But it was all good. As soon as my clothes were somewhat dry, I called for the shuttle driver to come fetch me. I really enjoyed rubbing shoulders with the Mid-town coin wash customers and complimented the lady attendant on my way out the door on her managerial prowess. Though some sketchy types were out wandering around the parking lot, I felt safe with the attendant in charge. A brotha would be a fool to come into this Fun Wash and be causing trouble. 4 YELP STARS.

I spent the better part of my Saturday here, running ten loads of laundry. I used multiple…read moredifferent washers. I thought the washers were a bit pricey. They start at $2 for a "light" cycle. The bulk front load washers started at $4.50. You could fit two loads into them. But I didnt feel that they spun the clothes down nearly as well. The standard sized front loaders were average, and between the two prices, above. The front loaders all had detergent entry above. I am short, I did not see this, so I dumped my detergent straight into the washers. There were not clear instructions for this. The dryers could hold two loads. They were all .25 for 5 min of drying, which tbh, I thought was high also. However, they get super hot and you can get a double load of clothes dry in 30 min or less, easily. Bulk materials like a comforter, took 45 min. The laundromat wasn't super clean but wasn't dirty. It would be great to have it swept and mopped out every day, with clean mop water. It had the standard lint and fuzzies floating around, which, meh. Make you sneeze. It was warm inside, but that was due ti all of the energy consumption. They had a/c running and a quiet 80s radio that happily competed with everyone else's devices. There is a quarter change machine that will change over $1, $5 and $10 which is great. Of course I needed twenties changed over so had to run across the street ti break the twenties. The biggest issue I had (which was minor) was the laundry detergent/softener dispenser. It was pay by app or by coin. I didn't care to download the app and I wanted to pay with change. But nowhere in the machine did it give a cost for detergent. So instead, I visited the grocery across the street again, and bought detergent. I think that's about all. All patrons were respectful and helpful, a diverse group of people. No employees onsite at anytime that I was there. There was a bathroom available, behind an unlabeled door. It was dirty, no soap, but functional. I did learn from this venture, that I would never want to work at a laundromat or a dry cleaner. Washing and folding all day is hard work!
