What really makes this place so special is the owner who is super friendly, helpful, & even gave some suggestions for other thrift stores to support as well. It is a smaller thrift store, but the items and customer service were amazing finds! Everyone we interacted with were so kind and helpful! They had a variety of clothes, home goods, cards, crafts and more! The pricing was very fair too! I am excited to come back to see what other treasures we might be able to find! Something that I really liked about this thrift store was their ability to give back to the community. It seemed as though there were other services that Second Chance Thrift Store might be affiliated with, such as food donations. They also had an area where if you had items to drop off to donate, you could do so. I waited 2 hrs and had to leave because I am on vacation and had plans. Went to pick it up the next day and they said I am not in the system because I dropped off yesterday (no one told me I had to pick up same day). Gave me my bag and I said so what now. The employee says do you want me to see if we have some of your stuff saved. I said ummm yes! She didn't find anything (wasn't promising). I left my bag to be rechecked and have to wait another hour for it to be looked at. Left crying no one said sorry or had any remorse. Horrible experience! I used to be assistant manager at a Plato's and our store was never ran like this!

Went in today looking for a white or cream outfit and she did her best to assist. They have lots of patterned items and some solid color items and it's a fun cute little store. I didn't recognize any of the brands for the items but that's also the allure of going to smaller boutique places, finding new local brands. They have some racks with sale and larger discounts and are conveniently located next to a beer house and a Venezuelan restaurant so you could always partake after you do some shopping. Only negative on my end would be the stores temperature felt a little want but it could just be me, the store had a nice scent and was perfectly lighted.
