I do not think I will be going to this store anymore until the fitting rooms are reopened. Any woman knows you can see something on a hanger that is in your size and looks totally cute but you try it on and looks terrible and unflattering. Not the fault of the store but when you can't try anything on that is incredibly frustrating. Then to return it (difficult when I live out of town) in the time frame only to get store credit to buy something else that may or may not fit and start the process over again is ridiculous. It would be one thing if the prices weren't so high to take a chance on something not fitting. The store credit thing is silly, other businesses don't operate that way. Goodwill doesn't put the good things out. They save them for their online auction. For donated stuff that is meant to help the lower income people Goodwill has twisted their mission to a "for profit" company. The government should remove their tax exemption. read more

I am giving 2.5 stars. The good. Lots of stuff to pick from. Good selection of men's clothes Mostly a clean store. The bad. The prices really could be better. Lots of people come in and buy just to resell the products online. Garage sales are cheaper. The people who struggle to make ends meet are limited in this store. Not just me but plenty of others. Yes, rent has gone up and so have utilities but tye consumer should not be punished since we are in the same position. Overall, there needs to be changes. Others have very clearly have said prices are too expensive, they are correct. Maybe you should do something about that. read more

I've been popping tags all over Montana and sadly I don't like this location. The prices are pretty high in comparison to the others in the state. The goods is not all the best for donations either, but it has some unexpected finds sometime. Go on $1 tag Monday and don't forget to check the sales. read more

This store is overpriced. I made a trip to see if they had any storage solutions. They did not have many options. On top of that, an employee approached me, telling me to leave my backpack purse at the front. She was not kind about it and needed a lesson in communication. Why should i trust her or anyone else working there with my wallet and personal info? Maybe they approached me because of the eczema on my skin, potentially profiling me as a drug addict. I am not certain. but it was humiliating. read more

Do not buy any clothes here, unless you are certain they will fit. You cannot try them on. And if you try to return them, they will not give you one dime. They will only give a credit card, whether you want any more of their junk or not. Of course, they will not tell you that until they've trapped you. Covid restrictions have been lifted in this area, and yet they still won't open their fitting rooms. Probably they never will, until the whole globe is germ free. This is a lousy way to do business. At the very least, they should post a No Refunds sign. That would be acceptable: warning people instead of tricking them. I won't shop there again, and I won't donate again. I have shopped here for years. I loved this store but recently their prices have become insane. Today was the last straw for me. I found a pair of short hunter boots tucked in the corner with no tag on it. I tried them on & they were PERFECT. I took them to the front knowing they wouldn't sell items without a tag on them, & asked how much they would be. $7.99 they said. I was excited :). Then a woman working next to her said "no no no! These are like 200$ shoes!" Then started waking to the back to get them priced. She passed another worker who I'm pretty sure is a manager cause he is pretty much running the show any time I've seen him there. He said "those will be 7.99". She refused & repeated that they were VERY expensive shoes, over $200! I followed her to the back dock doors & waited patiently. She finally came back & told me the price would be 45.99, because these shoes were $300 & basically brand new". I laughed & said no thanks. I was polite about it. But seriously?! This is a goodwill. Their merchandise is FREE. I'm not a reseller but I doubt you could get $45 on eBay for these! Just for the record they are $95 brand new & that comes with a 2 year warranty. read more

I asked for a military discount today and was told they didn't offer one. I found their prices to be high compared to other thrift stores.

This Goodwill is smaller than some other locations I have been in, but for Montana this one is a good size. It is a little out of the way so you have to be looking for it unless you would already be traveling on this road and happen to pass by it. It is sort of across from the Army Navy Store and is in the same center as Pho Ly and Access Fitness. I like that this location is open seven days a week and is open until 9pm. It seems so hard to find thrift stores that are open Sundays and also that are open past 6pm around here so that makes this one a huge go to especially if I'm thrifting on a Sunday, or need something when other ones are closed. I have gotten a wooden bookshelf from here for $8! I had to paint it because it was ruffed up and not super heavy duty just plain wood but still it did the job. I have also found some random other things that have worked out here and they do seem to keep it pretty organized and kept up which is nice. They always have a sale of the day based off of what color tag is on the clothing and most of the time is 50% off which is a really good deal. read more
