It's a small location, and it can get busy. On Sunday, when items with the week's sticker colors are just $1, expect to wait a while in line to pay. I once waited while the two registers were tied up with customers who each had two carts overflowing with dollar clothing. I've gotten some deals on clothing and housewares. My mom has gotten sturdy wooden chairs for $1 each, but I've never found any furniture or electronics here. read more

old sickly looking lady at the register was a rude b-ch and made up lies about us being disrespectful and claimed we "made a mess" and "blocked off" the back section when that just didn't happen. we were there for 15 min and left because she kept saying smart remarks and asked if we were "buying anything" multiple times. read more

They remove tags from relatively high priced items shortly before Sunday sales. Several wedding dresses and a model ship in the front of the store had their yellow tags removed right before that became the color of the week. Don't bother trying to find any good deals here. Spoke to management repeatedly about the issue and they were no help. read more

WOW! Management has really turned this store around for the better. Everything is well organized, and they have a very good selection of clothes for fair prices. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the renovations they did on the place look beautiful. Definitely, coming here more in the future. read more

I've shopped this store for about a year, not the worst, not the best. Until today. I went in to pick out a few half price items. The sale color tags were red and blue. They've retagged I'd say 80% of the sale tags to the current weeks color! I took pictures! You can see the old red tag stubs next to the new tags. They left the old colored plastic tags in the clothing. It's through out the store. Easily 70% of the tags on the racks were yellow tags. I talked to the manager. She tried blaming it on people removing tags. I used to manage one of their competitors, I told her I knew how many tags were removed. This was blatant retagging of sale color tags. I told her I would be reporting to corporate and writing a review, and never returning. I down between $160 and $400 on sale day. I'm no rookie to this. I also own my own store now. read more

This store is very racist. I was shopping and a man kept staring at me whenever I went to assuming I was stealing something. So I just decided to leave. There wasn't anything good in there anyway except for two really cute bags but they were both over $5. At Thrift Village, the bags would have been cheaper and still looked good. I will choose thrift village over goodwill any day and I doubt I'll be back here. read more

I'm sorry, but this is NOT a 5 star Goodwill. The selection, while light on shoes, does sometimes yield a treasure, it is usually short lived. I've been here 3 times now, and each time I found something that would have been an awesome find; however upon closer inspection, it was seriously damaged. The first time was a teal Calvin Klein top with lace sleeves that had holes all down the bottom front. The last time I was there I found an Anthropologie top that had 2 huge holes under the armpit. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Just double check your items if you do make a purchase here! read more

Not too bad at all considering that the location(no pun intended) is in Glassboro. Each and every one of us has our own personal likes n dislikes. That's what makes us unique. It's just the way the o'l cookie crumbles sometimes. That's Life! It just so happened that I was in the area(directly across the street from Goodwill)at a popular all you can eat lunch buffet (Chinese of course, his absolute "number one" "eat in"or"take out" best, most favorite, of all cuisines)with my 100% polish" boyfriend. He knows and I know he's weird when it comes to his food. LOL. Ok that's ēnuff a dat silliness lol. As for the Goodwill store in Glassboro. I think it's a bit cramped up especially when busy and crowded with people. I was only there once and it was tight trying to squeeze through the iasles to get a good look at everything. That was the only downside for me. I'm only 127lbs and could barely get through the people just to be able to breathe. If your claustrophobic like I am at times. Go on the slower days. Call or check the website to find out their slowest days. After I saw it and confirmed that it was in fact "the real deal"_ chá- chıng(Jackpot). I had to do some deep digging but it was so worth it. If you know what you're doing thrifting can become a fun hobby. If its something you need, buy it! Me, I gotta be careful. Lol. Thrifting means sometimes you gotta get out there and do some serious searching for those hard to find vintage keepsakes and all those amazing antiques that may still be out there in the universe. Buying collecting storing and eventually the hope of selling is all part of that game. It can very easily become addictive not to mention time consuming. It will def take honest self discipline and you'll need a place to store it all until it sells if that's your plan. Why keep it all? It just sits there. Sure it's nice to look at but C'mon... Isn't there more to life than having a bunch of stuff? You can't take any of it with you when u leave this great plane. Keep two or three and donate the rest. From everything I've learned x zabout thrift stores is... they are great for shopping at for big families. The less fortunate depend on them for clothing their children but also for buying things to use in the home. Sometimes when I get to thinking about the one's that have money (prob plenty of money) but for some reason we see them come into our neighborhood thrift stores well dressed perfectly groomed and polished. They're not in there donating. Not even volunteering. Some of these higher class folks with their big diamond rings pearl necklaces coach bags placed daintily on their arms are not there to help out in any way. They are there specifically to shop. But their shopping is a little different. They are shopping only for the things of real money value. Usually the good stuff that people less fortunate ever even get to see. I'm saying this because I've done it myself. Even tho I don't have a lot of money myself I'm getting by ok. it still saddens me and shames me to the point of I'm just as guilty as those high end shoppers. The next time I go In one of those thrift shops I'm going to do something nice for someone less fortunate... just because. Because I want to. My heart wants to. This goodwill always has great furniture, clothes, and hidden gems in it! The employees are all super nice and helpful. They offer student discounts and accept boro bucks so I go here all the time. I got a like-new ikea dresser from here and a bunch of board games! read more
