Had some chairs to drop off and the experience was sad to start.
We were helping clean out for a friend, so loaded up some chairs and headed to the local Goodwill.
Since we were not from the area, we drove "backwards" around the building so ended up pulling in from the "wrong" side. A worker sitting at a picnic table off in the back kept gesturing to us like we were idiots.
Finally seeing signs and realizing where we needed to go we pull up the right way.
Employee came out and said "hold on" which we took to mean she was getting more help to unload. Oh no, what she meant was maybe they wouldn't take our items, but we didn't realize that's what she meant until we unloaded and someone came out to tell us they decided not to take furniture any longer.
Super excited to hear that so we reloaded and made our way across the way to St Vincent DePaul where those guys were super excited to take our donations!
Wish we had started there!
