There is a new color of the week starting every Monday, and everything that color is 99 cents. So if you get a senior discount on the color of the week you can get two items of clothing for $1. You can't beat that! There's also a new thing where you can buy a reusable bag (for $2 I think) and when you buy clothes with it, you get an additional 20% off. The selection for everything is great, with possibly the exception of jewelry. I wear a lot of vintage-y clothes, so this is the perfect place. They are constantly getting new stuff in. It's also the cleanest and most organized Salvation Army I've been to. And most all of the ladies who work in there are very sweet. I will say that there is a regular in there who makes me really uncomfortable, and I wish someone would say something to him.... every time I see him in there he is yelling his racist views. Makes me sad, but since they are such a great Christian business I suppose they can't turn anyone away. Also-- please shop/donate here instead of that horrible company Goodwill! They were also nice enough to give us a tour of the inside of the life center. I think this center is so awesome in the fact that they support the local community who experience hardships from divorce, health issues, job loss, the pandemic, etc. They use a holistic approach over a one year period to provide assist and help you with a plan. They offer food programs, bill assistance and clothing. They do have a drive thru food pantry and financial assistant for rent and utility bills for permanent residents of Coweta and Fayette counties. They help families save around $9k a year which is amazing. They have the most organized clothing area and food pantry, you can also volunteer in the food pantry. This center also provides cooking classes and they teach you different recipes that you can use for the fruit and vegetables they provide. They do have other fruits that you can pick and they also have a garden. This was a great experience and I was more than happy to volunteer for this community.

No price on the tree but thought what the heck I might be able to rig a stand, took to the cashier she said no price has to go back to warehouse, saw the manager and thought maybe he could price it, instead he GRABBED it from me and said it had to go back to the warehouse for pricing. Wow. Merry Christmas right? BTW got a small one in a box from Goodwill for four bucks, and if they don't have a price on an item they will take it right back and price it, same with Value Village. What's up with Salvation Army not treating customers and workers with decency and respect? I used to work for them at the Youth Lodge on Howell Mill and always thought highly of them but all I gotta say is DO BETTER.
