I bought a dress for a funeral. I got home and the sleeves were too tight. I read the receipt which is contradictory. It said All sales final and in the Same sentence said a recent is required for returns. Apparently you can only return electronics. Now I am stuck with a dress I can't wear. But I'm more than welcome to donate it back!!!!!! Never coming here again. read more

My favorite Goodwill. Moved from small location, to this large location. Clean with great selection. Great shopping area that includes Walmart, TJMaxx, HomeGoods, Marshalls, ALDIs, and more. Grab a Crumbl cookie or two, or six nearby. A great outing! read more

Very small, out of the way location. But otherwise your average Goodwill. No problems, just not nearby for me.

Pretty small out of the way location as others have said. The selection is fairly decent although customer service isn't really high. Just make sure you get there more than 15 minutes before closing otherwise they're practically breathing down your neck to rush you out of the store. read more

I don't know what the other reviewers are saying about this Goodwill store in Danbury, CT. I did spend more than I thought I would, but honestly, most of the items of bought were "boutique" brand items like Ann Taylor, Banana Republic and Calvin Klein. I feel like I made out like a fiend and this is coming from someone who a) has been shopping thrift shops most of her adult life and b) someone who lives in NYC and knows what overpriced thrift store items cost. The Goodwill in NYC is much pricier and I would definitely recommend others to check out this location. The staff was prompt and helpful and the place felt well-organized too. It's not the biggest Goodwill that I have been to, but it was clean and sections were well maintained and clearly labeled. I only go for books so I can't speak for the rest of the store, but the shelves were filled with a variety of newer and older books. Especially a good selection for younger kids. The people working there were also friendly. read more

This clearly has to be the worst store location in the Danbury area, and they have had chance after chance to maintain my business, but have dropped the ball over the previous year. The management continues to speak Spanish, does not show any attempt at maintain customers. Sundays were always the day in which the store changed their color code discounted pricing at 50% off. The color of the week is typically posted at the store entrance or at each isle banner. Today, I found the isle banner showing last weeks banner and color code and spent the evening looking for products with this color tag. When checking out, an employee mentions that the color of the week was different than what I selected, and I show the employee their posted sale banner, and they did not offer to help adjust pricing. I told the employee that I was upset at the time which I had wasted looking for sale items due to this store's inaccurate sale banner, and the management had no interest is helping! Good riddance, and try finding management that can understand the English language, pays attention to store details, and show interest in retaining your business! read more

This is not my idea of a good thrift shop. I went to the Salvation Army in Danbury (now closed sadly) and was so impressed that I had high hopes for the Goodwill in this town. What a disappointment! First off, it's on the small side. Secondly, if you're looking for men's clothing, don't bother. What little they do have is all clean, newish nice-smelling crap that has no business being in a thrift shop. While the women's section is larger, it heavily leans toward the clean and generic as well. Once and a while you can find some cool old lady jackets and glassware but that's about it. read more

This prices here are a bit high for a second hand shop. If I was any more needy I might not be able to afford $20 bucks for someone else's used shoes and $12 for a tee shirt that originally was purchased for 9.99 at Walmart. This is the only store I know that thanks me for supporting their mission. What is their mission? Selling someone else's stuff at high prices? Who does this money go to? Charity? Salvation Army on Main Street has a lot more stuff, cheaper prices and actually help people with the money they take in. read more
