The employees are rude and short, and don't know the difference between jeans and pants.

The second I walked in the door, I was greeted by a grinning group of women-all who looked like they were having the time of their lives working here (how can I get in on that fun?!) One of the kind women welcomed me and explained some specials that the store was hosting that day. I grabbed a cart-I knew I was in for it. I browsed the clothing aisles and found several gems. I appreciate that everything is so clean-often, thrift stores have an odor, but it was noticeably absent here. The clothing appeared to be higher quality than I've seen in other second hand stores too. Beyond clothing, they also have household goods, seasonal décor, kitchen stuff, etc. I browsed those items briefly, but it was the clothing that got me. I left with several cute new-to-me outfits that I'm excited to wear. The prices were very reasonable, too! Every time I come to Boise, I'll make sure I plan a trip out to my new favorite thrift store.

I believe the last couple times I checked it out, I didn't really find anything. But I felt like today could be a good day to find some treasures so I made my way in. This store is always busy! There were so many people here today. And every time I drive by, there is always a lot full of cars. That's always a good sign, you're bound to find something neat here if they are always so busy! I only had one thing in mind to find and that was anything antique. I made my way to the back to see what they had and boy was it all pretty. There were a few plate sets that were stunning. Teacup sets and old plates with roses on them. All stunners but all very expensive. There was a teacup set that really caught my eye. As much as I wanted to get it, I just couldn't pull the trigger cause of the price. No one really talked to me, everyone was in their own world. I like the set up of the shop and how clean it is. I appreciate an organized store. Some things were practically priced and some things just made you shake your head. I'm sure I'll make my way back. And hopefully next time I'll find something that is old and stunning but will always fit my price budget.

Consignment retail; suggesting a tip - epitome tacky. I purchased something, found it soiled upon leaving, took it back within 10 minutes, owner gave me money back minus the tax. Not a big deal but principle and attitude matters. Will be back to "Find" and tell others about their fine principles and amazing clean, organized store.

I originally wandered in because it's next door to Shine Dance Fitness and now it's become one of those "I'll just stop in for five minutes" places that somehow turns into an hour. I've consigned Chicos pieces, Banana Republic suits, and boots that no longer fit, and I've also found some ridiculously good stuff there -- including Tory Burch leather boots in amazing condition and my now-favorite Paige jeans from one of their $5 sidewalk sales. Their inventory changes constantly, which is both the fun and frustrating part because if you see something you love... you probably should just buy it. What really makes the store work is that the staff actually knows fashion and styling. Our family photos this year included a jacket one of them picked out for me and I ended up loving it way more than what I originally grabbed. A few tips: If you want to consign, avoid Fridays and Saturdays because they can get too slammed to take items in. Follow their Instagram because they post their sales there first and some of them are REALLY good. My only tiny complaint is I wish they used a little less air freshener/candles because everything comes home with that signature "The Find" scent. To be fair, I'm probably the most allergy-prone person alive, and the smell does come out eventually -- but fellow sensitive-nose people will know exactly what I mean.

I stopped in the other day to check out what kind of goodies they had. It was early in the day so it was pretty chill. It was nice to shop in an empty store. I checked out Ruby's closet since it mainly focuses on vintage antiques. I was able to score some really pretty China. I did also scope out the regular shelves and found some treasures as well. I was quite amazed at how many stunning pieces they had! My cart was full of them. I did stop in the next day to see what kind of new things were on the shelves. I did find a cute antique chair that would have been great in my living room. I looked at the price tag and was quite shocked at the pricing. The chair was 80 dollars! Who in their right mind would charge 80 dollars for a chair at a thrift store? I understand that it's old and considered vintage but 80 dollars is completely ridiculous. As fun as it was to shop here or any other Idaho Youth Ranch, it's almost disgusting at the prices they are charging. They are profiting off of donated items. The point of being a thrift store is allowing those who are on a tight budget be able to afford things that they need. With some of the prices that they are charging, you might as well get something new at Walmart. I did have good luck finding some stunning pieces today. But the following visit just showed me greed in their pricing. I hope that IYR would consider being more considerate on their prices. Nothing more annoying than seeing a non profit store take advantage of our local community.

Over the past few years, I've noticed that they've upped their pricing pretty outrageously which has bothered me for a long time, having to pass on things I could use because it's too expensive... Regardless, I've continued to check in from time to time to see what's new on the off chance something is reasonably priced. Today, that stops for good. Multiple things I usually go for are even higher now -- VHS movies has had a 33% increase apparently since my last visit, which is ridiculous. I came across a pair of beat up black sweats a few weeks ago, with no waistband label mind you, for $34.99! I asked someone who worked there who agreed that it seemed like a mistake, so she went to ask a manager. When she came back, she informed me that they were priced that way "because they're lululemon". Now I don't know diddly-squat about whatever that brand is, but I don't care! They were really worn... grunge level wear and that's why they appealed to me (I needed comfy sweats for home) who cares about brand when a) there's not even a label on them to know for sure and b) as Ignacio says -- "sometimes you wear stretchy pants, IN YOUR ROOM" like, COME ON!! I'm not trying to impress my dogs with bougie PJs! Another day ---Really beat up & filthy converse were $18.99. Vans in similar condition were $24.99 with missing shoe laces, another pair I recall from a couple months back were $45.99 in the men's section. What is that, like 75% of what new ones cost?! Then today, I came across these two pairs of Docs at $60 & $65?! Hell no, I find better deals on FB Marketplace for used Docs. I'm not expecting garage sale prices here but this is straight up robbery in our sh*t economy. This Fairview store's Manager needs to chill and FYI, this company's CEO had a 10.8 million dollar salary last year, from what I've read. What a piece of --for a for-profit company to charge these prices for DONATED ITEMS, $$ only going charity if required to. Shameful!! Take note, Savers pricers --- this is a Thrift store. Act like it. Everyone sees what you're doing (as noted in my photo) We also know there are plenty of other Idaho-based thrift stores where we DON'T get ripped off and our $ actually makes a difference in our community. Better tax write offs NOT to donate to you too. I'll never set foot in your store again.

The most…read morerecent time I was in here I was shocked that deeply used and worn t-shirts were $6/$7+ dollars. Deeply used jackets and blazers $20/$25+. And while yes, this is lower than buying new, you can find a new, unworn t-shirt for $8/$9. New coats or blazers $30 at most sales, new. I stopped coming to Savers because the prices rising for free, used items was upsetting. Well if I was upset the last time, imagine this most recent visit, I couldn't stop telling my mom how much the prices were since the last time I was in, it consumed me :). I am not a grumpy person and often look to the positives but the pricing here has gotten way too out of hand! Suggestion Savers: sell all your donated items for next to nothing and move more items faster! Isn't it more valuable to sell 3, $3.00 items than 1, $7.00 item? Asking for a friend. And good lucky finding a sale tag. It is like finding a unicorn on a rainbow. It probably won't happen. But never say never :) I will say, the people working at the checkout (including self checkout!) and people collecting donations are always fantastic and interactive. They turn my price tag shock frown upside down. I am hopeful you may find a deal here if you spend enough time!
