When I did see a PA for the wound that should have been dressed by a urgent care they called the fire department and a ambulance! What a waste of county resources! I was transferred to a local er that was on lock down. I sat in that hospital ER for 16 hours overnight! When The ER physician was finally free to help me hours later, he said I do not understand why your doctors urgent care could not address this simple injury. They should have dressed it with a topical antibiotic cream. I wholeheartedly agree. When I tried to talk to the to the office manager the next day, I was unheard and treated disrespectfully. The only downside was an interaction I overheard with one of the nurses. While moving patients through efficiently is understandable, I felt the nurse spoke a bit too loudly when expressing the need to get me out of the room, which came across as somewhat unprofessional and made me feel a little uncomfortable.
