They also came back to fix the couple of issues we had. They brought in a tractor to prepare yard for sod and other plants, installed all irrigation, and planted everything. I would definitely recommend them for any landscaping installation job and have been impressed with their yard maintenance program so far as well. I have had no problem with return calls or customer service as the other review here talks about. They seem to have a great office staff also.

Husband went to office and was told "You need to make a deposit", but in November was told no deposit was needed. Then told that sod would be installed in April, guess what no sod. Spoke directly with owner, he came by the house and verified that no sod was installed but he would call back on Monday. No call, no sod. But we did receive a bill to be paid in full on May 9. Went to the office again (8th time at office) numerous phone calls. Baldwin turf is saying the job is completed, even though the owner physically saw it had not been done. Well we are in the last week of May, still no sod, but our 2 neighbors, one who ordered at the same time as us have theirs completed and the other ordered a month ago and they are finished already. No explanation as of yet. I do not like giving them a star when that is too high.

They left the site super clean with no left-over debris. The family was super happy about the end results and we couldn't have asked for a better crew. Two of their sales representatives, Logan and John, have gone out of their way to help us get the decking material that we needed fairly urgently to complete a new home build in Santa Rosa Beach. The samples I received several months ago, the WearDeck composite deck boards from Owens-Corning, helped us decide the best color for our house and Decks and Docks happily had most of the product in stock. The additional riser pieces were shipped in for us in just a few days and delivery was done the same day to our home build. Great turnaround time and customer service. I just want to give the praise to this company that it deserves. Mostly I want to give praise to Alex and his crew. Never once had I worked with a contractor where I didn't have to worry about anything. I actually closed my blinds, so I couldn't see what was going on, so that I didn't get too involved. I was a kept up to date on what was ever going on for that day. The communication lines from this company are very clear. They even called me a few weeks prior to my job starting, and the day before. It's very hard to find clear effective communication in a company as well. I DO NOT HAVE ONE COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND THE CREW I HAD. I've worked with some shady contractors. What a concept that the crew comes together in one vehicle? At 8 o'clock in the morning, after they all leave a company meeting.....and then they leave in the same vehicle at 5pm when it's quitting time. They started on Monday, and they were done by Friday. Let me tell you, when it comes to organization and getting the job done, they're a million times on it. We had Alex and his crew.. Another guy named Alex and a Joe! They were the most respectful crew I had ever met. Not to mention just down right good people.. You don't find much of that anymore, either. If you want to be the envy of the neighborhood and have your dream come true with your own tropical paradise, but you're not really sure how.... then you need to call Amy. She's the designer. She's got five star ratings from all of her jobs. There's obviously a reason for that. Believe me I looked at them all before I made my decision.
