What impressed me,…read morethough, was they came in and suggested a smaller job in one area to see if it worked before she spent the larger amount of money on the bigger job that included the entire basement and a sump pump. They did not try to sell her anything she didn't need and their quote was lower than all the others. The crew was very professional and courteous and left her basement looking as good as it did when they started the work. Their warranty is also a lifetime warranty that goes with the house no matter who owns it. I would highly recommend PermaJack to anyone! Mary Karen Johnson

We called this company after we discovered damage to our roof and chimney siding. David Swindler…read morewas in contact with us shortly and came to our house for a consult. He concluded after inspection that the roof would need to be replaced, and helped walk us through the process we would be obliged to go through vis a vis our homeowner's insurance. This was just before Thanksgiving 2018. David said he would be in contact with us the weekend after Thanksgiving about putting a tarp over the damaged section of our chimney. That time came and went with no word from him, and we chalked it up to the holiday. Two weeks went by and we finally contacted him to ask what was up. He said he had been ill and would be contacting us later that week. That week came and went. We contacted him yet again and he claimed he was very behind due to his illness and offered to come over on Saturday 12/15/18 to go through the insurance with us. He said he'd be there at 3:30. I sat on my front porch from 3:10pm until 4:00pm waiting for him, and he never showed, never called, nothing. My wife left him a message saying we were terminating his services (such as they were) and to date (12/20/18) we still have not heard from him, not even so much as an apology. It is very dismaying, because David seemed to be competent, knowledgeable and very good at explaining things to laypeople, and we were looking forward to working with him. But this kind of inconsiderate behavior is simply unacceptable and unprofessional, especially when I still have a HOLE IN MY CHIMNEY. I will never use this company for anything again and urge you not to either.

Can't recommend Ted and 502 Construction enough!…read more In fact, I have given his info to two people so far and will likely be sharing it even more in the future. I reached out to 502 Construction via Yelp, and Ted, the owner, responded directly to me and came out to look at our issue firsthand before giving us a quote. It meant so much to be able to talk to him about this from the start. The stone facade on a back wall in our garden had fallen off, due to water getting behind the stone and freezing. We also wanted to add a brick topper to that wall, to match the wall on the other side of our back yard, and we wanted a metal railing added to the length to prevent anyone from falling off the side of the wall, which abuts our parking pad. Ted's bid was fair, and when he started the work, he was at our house everyday (excluding a couple of days due to bad weather) until it was complete. He was communicative and receptive throughout. And his work more than met our expectations. He had to individually measure and cut maybe 100 bricks so that the topper would work with the incline of the wall. He went a couple of places to find brick that would match brick we already had at our house, and he cut and welded the railing on site. We still need to paint the railing, but it is night and day better compared to what it was. (I will be sure to add before-and-after photos once it is 100% complete.) Ted is going on our list of contractors to have handy and to recommend to all who will listen.
