Large Sesame Chicken with Fried Rice
    L. N. D.

Always my go-to place for quick, reasonable Chinese food. The sesame chicken, steamed dumplings, crab Rangoon. Oh tried the Seafood Delight, it was "okay" lacked sufficient protein without "extra" charges. I haven't ventured too much as I'm a creature of habit but quick service. Now don't expect going in to get a warm and fuzzy customer service feeling cause that is not happening! It's an Asian family own business. I've sat down inside before, I don't advise staying for long, again not a 3, 4, 5 Star restaurant but great for takeout. It's not nasty just not to my liking.

As Chinese eateries go, this restaurant is right on par in regards to taste, menu selection and cost with some of my other favorite Chinese restaurants. Lobby is a bit dated but I rarely see customers dining in so I'm guessing remodeling is not something in their future. I normally get sweet and sour chicken which always arrives hot, fresh and delicious. This place is in a plaza with a gas station and parking is a bit tight but don't let that discourage you from getting a quality meal at a reasonable price, cheers!!

My buddy recommend this place a few times actually. He is usually good about getting decent food at a good price so I listen. After all, he found a few places for me before that I have been to and liked. He's not on Yelp so I get the glory! Anyway, I dined in and tried to absorb the whole experience. I arrived to see a few people hanging out front. That's cool, par for the course in the area. I go in and place my order. No one is waiting around so I think cool, it'll be quick. I order and pay and get the water. Then I begin to chill and wait. I soon realized those weren't vagrants out front they had just ordered and we're waiting on food. Nice! It takes about 10 to get my food. It arrives 862 degrees and impossible to eat. Not criticism, but that shit was hot! Another 5 go by before I get a bite that is a human tolerable temperature. It's not bad... I ordered the $5.99 lunch special. General Tso's chicken. Tons of food for $5.99. Chicken was crunchy like it should be and rice was pretty good. It was all super fresh and although not the greatest quality at its core it's not bad food. The long/short is they were already pretty busy and just opened. There was a steady stream of calls and walk ins the entire time. They will be here a while. It's clean! It's new! It's like Yums and other concepts but the food is good and the people are nice!

They always treat me with good customer service. I just come hear whenever I am on this side of town. Food isn't bad. I ordered plain fried rice with chicken wings.

So, Little Petals, i.e., Petals of a Peony, Jr.: no one was inside. I assume this to be per usual for 2:30pm on a Tuesday. It follows then, that the service was, um, efficient and bespoke. Ordered the pork eggrolls (very good, the sauce that came with it - oddly the perfect amount was given in a little rectangular container - made these delectable) and the General Peony's Chicken. And this was damned good. Pricey for lunch, but I could have made 2 or 3 meals off of it. A satisfying amount of heat from the szcheuan (sp?) peppers; not overly breaded so as to make it a fried dough dish, but rather to carry the sauce on the chicken; the chicken was a quality cut, nicely sized per bite. A new go-to for lunch downtown.

To be correct as my husband would point out this is not the specific Michelin recognized restaurant but a sister restaurant. The same items are sold here yet this is a fast casual version with a drive thru. I have never been to the original restaurant so I could not compare but I thought overall it was pretty good. The price for a bento box was really reasonable I believe it was about $10. For that price you get a protein, a base, an egg roll or spring roll, and a drink. The portions were very decent! I wish they had other drink options available other than soft drinks. Technically you can get a bottled tea but it's an up charge. If I lived in the area I could def see me wanting fast food and getting this. It's definitely better quality than food court Chinese food.

She was extremely pleasant and welcoming. The portions are massive and the flavor intense. Jacob got the salad which had way more on it than explained. He loved it. I got the truffle sandwich and it was absolutely the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It had two giant fried tenders on it which were juicy and crispy with their amazing wingman sauce. It also had a truffle aioli that was subtle but definitely delicious. The fries are season and crispy on the outside but creamy on the inside. We got the wingman platter. For the love of God this was incredible. The wings were juicy as well as nicely crispy. The flavors, now here's where they hit. There was a honey mustard, wingman, lemon pepper and a type of jerk curry. Well let's say this, I NEVER dipped. Not once. The seasoning on every one of these was magnificent. The curry was my favorite. It had a unique flavor with a kick. Best wings Ever!!! The place earns its name. We also had the rolls which were spicy and flavorful. Wouldn't pass on those either. This place deserves more than 5 stars. If you're looking for fried chicken or wings DON'T MISS this place. I am ruined now, because I will forever want this food every time I want fried chicken. When it came to which flavors to pick, I knew I had to try their award-winning flavor, Memphis Buffalo. I'm not a big wing person, so it was just ok to me. It was good, but didn't wow me. Also, I always get boneless, so I'm not sure if the flavor is different on regular wings- so take my review with a large grain of salt if you're a big wing person. The fries were really good but the flavored versions weren't that impressive so I'd rather just stick to the regular fries. The Pineapple Habanero was really good though. Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.
