Went in and requested to get a small tattoo on my wrist, the artist told me at least $400 for a tiny little snake. When i said i was expecting more of the $150-$250 range and showed him a comparative tattoo i received from another shop that fills my entire bicep up that i paid $250 for he told me "well it shows". I received my other tattoo from a renowned artist from the st augustine area who has been the owner of and tattooing people for a living for over 60 years. Terrible customer service from the artists and the prices are absolutely insane, go get your tattoo from absolutely anywhere else. read more

Do NOT GO HERE for a piercing. Horrible experience after having to get my minor daughters navel re-pierced b/c 1st bar was too short in length. I've visited many shops (hubby and I have 30+ piercings and tattoos) and have never had a negative experience or witnessed anyone in another shop have such a bad experience. After researching & calling multiple shops around the area to find someone that would pierce a minors navel, I decided to take her to Good Vibrations. I provided the notarized permission and everything was great. I even bought shirts from the shop and took my other daughter for a nose piercing (she's had no issues). We noticed swelling but the paperwork we were given said that is completely normal so we didn't think much of it and my daughter kept following the cleaning instructions. A few days later she noticed that the barbell was actually sinking into her skin. I called and Sean told us to come in. When we got there he said that it looked like the curved barbell was too short. He removed it and inserted a longer bar with the same gauge. Upon insertion he said the hole made by the other barbell was too large and the longer bar would slip through if it was kept in. He removed that one and told us to wait a week for it to heal up and he'd re-pierce it at no charge ("because he stands by his work") when we came back. He even told her that it would hurt a bit more than the first time b/c he'd be re-piercing the same spot. I let him know we'd be on vacation so it would probably be 2 weeks and I'd call when we got back in town. I called and spoke with Sean today (7/21) and let him know we were coming by and he said to come anytime; he'd be there till 11. When we arrived the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and told us that I would have to have another waiver filled out. Sean was at the front desk too. I was taken aback because this wasn't mentioned/necessary when we had it removed, had the other bar put in, or when I spoke to him 20 minutes earlier. I didn't understand because we had already gotten the notarized waiver for the first piercing (just a few weeks before) and they should have kept it on file. It hadn't even been a month and this wasn't our fault. She threw the notary paper at me. I asked to speak with a manager or the owner that could explain this to me and was told "no." I took the paper and headed out. My daughter was adamant that she wanted to get it re-pierced here instead of going to another place so I headed to the UPS store to get the paper notarized. In the car I called their other Good Vibrations location and explained the situation to Trish who said she would pass my name and number to the owner because I wanted to speak with someone about the policy/records and lack of customer service from the lady at the front desk. We headed back into the shop and filled out the paperwork, etc. Sean called us back and a different lady (LiLi) was standing outside of the piercing area and asked if there was a problem. I said yes and tried to explain the situation to LiLi. She said she was the manager and the owners have her handle all the issues. Then began the back and forth. I didn't want to argue but wanted someone to explain the situation to me. Three times I stated that I didn't want to have an argument while my daughter was getting pierced. Sean and LiLi continued trying to argue while he was cleaning and marking my daughter for her piercing. This was supposed to be a fun experience for her and Sean & LiLi were completely unprofessional. I asked about using a longer bar this time since he'd said the last one was too short. Sean said he was using the same length bar, not the longer bar he said we needed on our 2nd visit. Sean said it was our fault and he was doing us a favor because we allowed the original piercing to become infected. I was upset by this statement because it was not true. My daughters piercing was not infected, the curved barbell was too short and was being pulled into her skin. When he removed her first piercing he told us it wasn't infected so I was confused and looking for an explanation. The barbell was too short and her skin was growing around it. (See photos) I asked my daughter multiple times if she wanted to go somewhere else but she said no because she wanted him to stand by his work. He did the piercing and we left. Home a few hours later you can already tell the barbell is too short for the piercing. I realize it's swelling and there needs to be room to account for that. The barbell he used isn't long enough to account for swelling. This whole situation could have been avoided if he used the proper length jewelry from the beginning. At no point was there any attempt to correct the mistake. The longer barbell was not used, there was no logical explanation of the record keeping/waiver policy, and there has been no apology. read more

Lucky their receptionist was so sweet and attentive. The tattoo artist wouldn't even speak with us, would tell his receptionist what to say to us, right IN FRONT of us. When my fiancé and I showed the artist Erik our ideas, he said "no I'm not the artist for that." And then walked away, went up to the receptionist maybe 2 feet away and said where I could hear him and told her "nix. No" and made the knife hand to his neck. He NEVER even looked at what my fiancé wanted, which was a flash from his tattoo collection book. The receptionist had to go back and get him. He didn't come back to speak to my fiancé, just told the receptionist what to say. Incredibly unprofessional. We left due to this. To the nice receptionist at this tattoo shop: you deserve a better work place! read more

They were busy for walk ins and I'd called earlier in the day, but front desk girl could have been a lot nicer. It's unfortunate that this place couldn't book reservations for 4 adults on basic tattoos and I and everyone even showed up as instructed and got abruptly blown off. I get you're busy, but I'm a customer and also I did what I was told to do. If you can't handle the overload just say you're fully committed or get a second person to help. Getting signatures isn't that hard and I don't feel that bad. Just be honest and don't blow off customers. Nobody in the group was rude to you. We just inquired and showed up. I had been pondering what I wanted for my tattoo for a long time. My wife, mother in law, and I were in Orlando for vacation and we decided we were ready to pull the trigger on getting tattoos done. I knew i wanted to incorporate a phoenix, spade, and cross into one tattoo. I had saved some pictures of ideas i liked. When we came in to Good Vibrations, we were fortunate to meet Nick, who listened to what i wanted and took a look at the pictures I had saved. I told him I wanted to incorporate those 3 elements somehow but I wasn't sure how to do it. I gave him the freedom to take my ideas and come up with something. He said "sure, let me draw you something up and we'll see how you like it and go from there." When he came back to show me his design, I could not have been more pleased! He nailed it! So right then we paid and did the required paperwork to get started. Had a great experience and was given good aftercare instructions. Nick is a very talented artist, so much so that my wife actually had looked him up before I even got my tattoo and knew from his portfolio that she wanted him to do hers. We are back again today (Nick told my wife to come as soon as they opened) and he is drawing up the design she described to him. They will be getting started shortly and I have no doubt that we will both be leaving Orlando as very happy customers! read more

My tattoo experience was the best and so was my sister's piercing! Everyone is friendly, professional and really talented. The young lady that did my tattoo of something my deceased Mother wrote to me is beautiful! They helped me choose the perfect location and she also has a tattoo of something her deceased Mother wrote to her on her arm! They also use a new clear patch to cover the tattoo that helps with healing and to keep it clean. I kept it on 4 days. I didn't have the peeling, weeping or scabbing that I have had with previous tattoos. I live in Georgia but next time I am in Florida (my hometown) I may just go get another fabulous work of art. read more

Came as a walk in with a picture of what I wanted. It was my first tattoo and I was nervous. Lauren at the front was lovely - no complaints! I should have left as soon as the artist told me he couldn't do what I wanted - that it had to be re-designed. I agreed to the adjustments - my fault. I also should have stopped him right away - it looked crooked to me, but I figured he knew best. Plus he made a bit of a mistake on the right edge and it's never going to stop bothering me. It's tilted, wrong, and I have pretty bad blowout as well. I thought it was bruising, but when I asked a friend with tattoo experience he said it was permanent. I have severe buyer's remorse, a bruised tattoo, and so much regret/regert. It makes me sad to give a poor review, but I really have to. Caveat emptor. read more

Checked us in, followed protocol to make sure we were all safe and germ free.. even gave us new masks to wear to ensure sterile environment. We came 3000 miles to visit with family. All the staff are super professional and nice. They ensure you feel welcomed and comfortable. I've had a bad experience with getting a nose piercing before at a different place and came to Good Vibrations anxious and uneasy. Josh made sure I felt okay and comfortable before, during, and after the whole process. He also said if I had any issues or questions to give him a call through out the healing process. I charged $400.00 for what amounted to about 45 minutes of work on a small tattoo. Idk why I was charged excessively, I have to assume she had a bill due or something and chose to take advantage of me. It was a simple job, complicated by the tattoo artist Elise "Lili" Allen. She gave me a hard time when I asked for the design to be simplified. She used black ink only, nothing to highlight or bring out the image. It came out flat and partially indiscernible. I have been wanting to get this tattoo for a long time, and the tattoo artist I worked with was very accommodating and worked with me to see what would work and what I can get done. I came to good vibrations as a walk in to get a simple tattoo two butterflies but I just wanted the butterflies to look a certain way and JAMES the artist working on my tattoo had no patience when it came to my vision he proceeded to over charge me 400$ with no color and reschedule my walk in visit to an appointment 3 weeks out like he purposely scheduled me the last day of the month for two butterflies it was the 8th and I had to reschedule for 30th. The vibes at this shop is very off the front desk lady was rude and sassy about very little questioned you asked and when I questioned the price on a 70$ nose piercing I was told by James they have families to feed and to blame inflation ... I wish I never paid these clowns a 100$ for my deposit appointment but I hope this review save the next person time and money because it's not worth the negative energy you get from this place. Terrible. Went to get a forward helix for my birthday and not only was it in the wrong spot, it took him twice to get it in.... freehand. So not only is it NOT where I want it (it's literally almost on my scalp) but it was the MOST painful piercing of my life. my Tragus and nose piercing weren't even 10% as painful as this one. Save yourself the pain and Agony and go somewhere else. Two week update: love how they comment on my comment stating that my anatomy is abnormal, when my anatomy was NEVER the problem. Piercing someone, removing the needle (because it's bleeding: newsflash as a piercer you should know that ANY FREAKING head wound bleeds) then re-piercing the same area will cause issues to a new piercing! And update: about a week in the area started to get a slight bump and today (a week later) while cleaning it the piercing fell out.... because the piercer didn't tighten it enough!!! Save yourself time, money, and PAIN and go elsewhere. Highlander Tattoo for one charges you literally 45$ less and they do excellent work!! Just went today for a conch and they did exactly what I wanted and charged only $15, where this place charges $50 read more

I'm really not sure why this place has such good reviews. I got a piercing here last night and within the next 12 hours it fell out because the lady never screwed it in completely. It was apparent the lady really didn't know what she was doing and it was far more painful than any piercing I've gotten before. The workers are not very nice and don't let you pick out your own piercing jewelry which is not typical of any other piercing shops I've been to. Look for somewhere else if you want people that know what their doing to do the work. read more

I got my first Tattoo today... This place is amazing. The staff makes you feel like family and the atmosphere is so friendly you want to just hang out and chill. Now I know why they call it good vibrations because everyone gives off good vibes. My tattoo looks great, my wife is still getting hers done it also looks amazing. Many people say that tattoos are painful. I'd call it more of an annoyance that you asked for. If you grew up with siblings it will be nothing. Allan is our artist and is so gentle. Had small dispute with service and management refuses to discuss a resolution. We have two main concerns with the piercing - one with the type of jewelry used and the second with the position. Our local shop advised us and the APP backs up the viewpoint, that only the internally threaded jewelry (my wife requested) should be used for new piercings to cause the least amount of trauma to a new piercing. http://www.safepiercing.org/jewelry_standards.php Secondly the position of the piercings top is slightly off, but the second hole we believe to be out the wrong side of the ear. As you requested I submitted three pictures of Piercing as well as a chart that illustrates what we wish piercing looked like. During her Prep time My wife was not given an opportunity to approve the piercing location, and as a result of this placement the standard size jewelry does not fit properly in the piercing, nor can it be seen across the ear like an industrial piercing should be.
