He was also pointed out the top mistakes that people make, and how to avoid them. He helped us understand what the DMV evaluators are looking for, and what will trigger an instant fail. He was also knowledgeable about the typical test routes that they take, which helped us become familiar with the roads. Of course, he also did a great job explaining things in a way that was easy to remember. Highly recommended! Note: we had previously taken three lessons (six hours) with another driving school, well known in the area. Long and LT Driving School were MUCH better!

My life was put on hold when I got hit by a reckless driver (a hit and run) as a pedestrian soon after moving to the Bay Area. I carried so much fear and emotional baggage around driving and honestly never imagined I'd actually be able to do it. But Long knew his stuff and taught me everything I needed to know to pass--not just how to pass the test, but how to think, see, and act like a strong driver. He's an excellent instructor: lessons tailored to me, very open to feedback, a good listener, respectful, patient, honest, and an all-around good guy. He really understands people--he could be a therapist (that's coming from a licensed therapist lols!). I cannot thank you enough, Long, for helping me get back my life (I write, as I'm holding back years' worth of tears).

But when COVID stay at home precautions were in place in 2020, I decided to go for it and take my coursework to get my RE license. The on-line coursework of Principles, Practices, & Finance were well-designed for us to learn, with interactive zoom classes. Angela So was a terrific instructor and I know I retained a lot of the information from her classes because I felt good even a year later when I finally got my state exam date in April 2021. Already working in the industry doing mortgage loans, I felt overwhelmed as my test date approached since I could only dedicate a small amount of time to studying. I decided to take the crash course and also opted for the recorded videos and state exam prep. The videos with Ian Medina really helped me integrate concepts in a memorable way. I'm glad I was able to view all of these and also do the practice exams prior to my crash course weekend. Scheduling the crash course the weekend before my test date did help me feel more confident going in. Clarissa Cortez was an amazing instructor who kept us all engaged during the weekend crash course. She was able to integrate real world examples that helped us remember concepts. Feedback from fellow students who had taken the exam also gave a good perspective of what to expect on exam day. Passing my exam on my first attempt was a great feeling and I am now able to start helping build the real estate side under my brokerage, West Gold Inc. Thank you CA Realty Training, Angela So, Ian Medina, and Clarissa Cortez for making my real estate educational experience amazing!

The classes were taught at Keller Williams modern offices in Downtown Burlingame. My awesome instructor Clarissa Cortez was so passionate about real estate and teaching! You'll see it from the start -- the excitement and love she has for her career in real estate. I also signed up for the crash course which included a massive bank of practice questions. Today, I passed the state salesperson exam on my first try. Normally I hear there is only a 40% pass rate. Thank you Clarissa!

After getting licensed, we were supposed to be placed in externships. Unfortunately the communication from the school stopped with no explanations. As of today April 15, 2026 entire class did not get any externships so we are all doing random jobs now to get by. What's even worse is that my friend got motivated to do the same program and enrolled on the program for the class batch after us, he also passed the board. We both did not know that the school would suddenly stop assisting us after getting licensed. During the enrollment and beginning of the program, the school emphasized that they will assist with the externship. One of main reasons I stayed with the program is because they advised that they have a plan-B which is staffing so there is a safety net, that we will get externship, but that didnt happen either. While our entire class is trying our best to find our own externships after getting licensed and got "ghosted" by the school. The school is still enrolling more and more students and posted more future class schedules on their website. Which makes me wonder about their plans, if they can't find externships for the previous and current students, why are they still enrolling more students?

My son has low vision and, with special bioptic glasses, is able to obtain a driver's license in California. Because of Derrick's expertise with bioptic drivers, making the hour-long drive to Burlingame was absolutely worth it. My son felt understandably nervous at first, but Derrick immediately put him at ease. He allowed me to sit in the back and observe the lesson, which meant a great deal to me as a parent. Derrick is calm, well-spoken, kind, and an exceptionally gifted teacher. He was incredibly thorough and thoughtful in every part of the lesson. What stood out to me most was his awareness and advocacy. Without anyone saying a word, Derrick recognized that my son would need an enlarged version of a worksheet and offered the accommodation proactively. As a mom who has spent years advocating for her child, that moment truly touched me. I felt seen, understood, and completely confident that Derrick genuinely understands the needs of visually impaired drivers. Beyond his technical skill, Derrick knows how to encourage and build confidence. He cheered my son on and helped him feel capable and excited about driving. Derrick is a true class act. I am beyond grateful we found him, and we are very much looking forward to the next two sessions. My son is excited to practice everything he learned today, which says it all.

He was tailgating the car in front of him and swerving around like crazy till that car pulled to the side and let him through. After that we were side by side in a 2 lane street and I got to the stop sign before him , BUT she didn't slow down and basically wanted to beat me at the stop sign . My car is way faster than his so that didn't happen. There are a lot of shitty drivers out there but when a driving school instructor drives like a maniac, you clearly don't want him teaching anyone anything . I wish I had take a pic of the license plate so that it was evident who it was.

Daniel and I started talking about and planning our wedding late February 2022. And we were recommended to reach out to Lana and her company Rainbow Chefs for the catering. Daniel and I were originally planning for a cocktail wedding, as opposed to a traditional sit down dinner. We were madly sending out inquiries to different food catering companies, food trucks, restaurants, etc., with no hope in regards to the insanely expensive prices for the amount of people we were expecting, about 200+. Finally, Daniel's manager suggested that we reach out to Lana. We scheduled a zoom meeting with her, and had an unforgettable first impression of her and her plan for our last minute wedding. She broke down every detail we needed to be aware of and prepared for, including prices, and even discussed different options her company could offer to us. It was not easy to plan a wedding with 200+ guest invitations, in 4-5 months, but thankfully we were lucky enough that Lana and her crew were available for our wedding date and were able to help us throughout the process. During the entire planning time, Lana diligently checked in on both Daniel and I, sometimes individually, making sure tasks were being done and loose ends were being tied in time for our big day. Not only was Lana on top of us daily/weekly regarding our wedding planning, but she was also conscientious toward our mental health and instilled lots of important advice. About a week before our wedding day, Lana, Kate and Viana came to the venue, along with our other vendors, to have an overall tour of the venue, to make sure they knew where to maneuver the food tables, the kitchen staff, the bar situation, etc. On the day of the wedding, Lana was exceptional! Her and the Rainbow Chefs crew made sure our guests were well taken care of. I got compliments from our family and friends about how great the staff was, so that definitely meant alot. Throughout the night, along with our wedding planner, Lana was making sure that Daniel and I ate, that we were aware of things she and her crew were doing, etc. They definitely helped ease some of our planning and event stresses. The communication, diligence and honesty that Lana and Rainbow Chefs presented to us throughout the entire planning and event process was one that we absolutely recommend to anyone who is planning a wedding or large event/party!!

Very questionable communication from the Rainbow Chefs Update- After three painful weeks, I have finally received the e-recipes that were promised to us in August, 2021. During the past three weeks, Lana from Rainbow chefs kept on promising that she will send the recipes to me without providing a date. I had to follow up with her multiples time to get an update. Along the way Lana kept on saying that Rainbow chefs went above and beyond to create the recipes for our camp and the recipes are supposed to be an "extra effort" for our camp, however, this was actually advertised to us before we signed the contract. I felt really annoyed that one dared to describe something that's 11 months late as "extra effort". In addition, the first version I received was full of typos/formatting errors and missing TWO dishes. Lana told me those were missing because she lost the recipe files--but according to her that everything was custom made for our camp so she had to write the recipes from scratch? If she had the "files" all this time why not just send to me? To conclude, lots of inconsistent information from Rainbow chefs. I would advise everyone to think twice before choosing to work with Rainbow chefs
