This was the MOST unprofessional experience I've had in a LONG time. Second, they screwed the obituary up - talking my father into the "free" obit in the B'ham News neglecting to make clear that it was only an 8 line obit. He took the trouble of listing all the children's names, etc. for them, and none of that was in the paper the day before the funeral. Not only that, the obit in the paper used her middle name because "her first name was too long and that would've created another line." They actually put another obit in Sunday's paper (the day AFTER the funeral) that was correct at thier own expense. The day of the funeral, we got there and her last name and birth date were incorrect on the prayer cards and the guest book. They had to scramble and reprint everything 30 minutes before the visitation started! NEVER AGAIN, BAD BUSINESS!

This "business" is highly unorganized.The woman who owns the place and works there does not have…read moregood communication skills.I don't know her name -she looks like Peter Brady from "The Brady Bunch" show,later on in the 1970's when he got that perm in his hair.It was a good company when Robert Parks operated the business.It is about as old as the owner ,"Peter Brady",is.She acts like she doesn't know how to talk to people when they come in the place.Like she can't handle being around the public.I tried to discuss my ideas about a headstone.I decided to go with another place because of her demeanor and the way the business seemed dysfunctional.She basically shut me down as I wanted to see examples of her work ,etc.It was not because she was busy.This happened twice,once by appointment.She just can't handle talking with people face to face,nor on the phone.And,I need to conduct my business with someone who acts capable and not have communication anxiety.
