The entire staff - management, nursing, housekeeping, etc. - were all friendly, competent and compassionate. Many family members from all over the U.S. visited my sister during her stay and staff was very accommodating about letting us use areas where this large group could gather, play games, visit and eat together. We were made to feel welcome at all times. Staff also helped us make transport arrangements when needed. My sister passed away shortly after leaving Riverbend and all of us were comforted by the loving care she received during this final stage of her life.

He is blind and has a broken knee, was in here for "rehab" and he would call us to let us know they would leave him on the toilet for more than 10 minutes even after he would call for help! This was proven to be true by his Dr who took pictures of the bruises behind his legs from sitting on the toilet for so long, as well as the bruises on his arms and rest of his body from staff not treating him properly! F**** this place how could anyone ever treat anyone like this, understaffed or not!

I've been to: - 3 different hip PT ( physical therapists)…read more- 4 local "all around" PT - 5 different Pelvic Floor PT - 2 different needling PT I've had multiple surgeries and have often been called a "complicated case." I have to begrudgingly agree to this statement. I'm only in my 30s but have very bad luck when it comes to accidents and surgeries. I realize that each physical therapy office has specialized people, and everyone will have a different experience. So I'll talk about the physical therapist that I've seen here at Rebound. First, their receptionists are very kind and understanding. They understand how the insurance works, and I'm always able to get in touch with them. They have jumped through hoops for me. Kat is by far my favorite. She has actually contacted billing, and my insurance at the same time, and held a conference on my behalf. It takes away all of my stress just to have someone help me with the insurance. Jason Grissom, who I've been seeing after my hip replacement surgery, listens to what I have to say. I cannot emphasize enough how important this is. I have been brushed off by so many physical therapists I've lost count. He is very upfront with me, which I also appreciate. He has never said the following things to me: "It's a marathon, not a race", " everyone's pain is different", " I cannot give you an estimate of how long it will take to heal." These are some of the most infuriating answers I've had to deal with for years. It really makes me feel like a human to hear an actual answer from him. He will say things like "With my experience, an injury like this, should take 2 years to fully heal." Or " I've had one case that took one month to heal, and another case that took 8 months to heal." No BS. No stock answers. No run around. It's been a breath of fresh air just to get an honest answer. Sarah Awe, who is also been seeing me for my hip, my light laser, and shock therapy treatments is incredibly...kind. She also listens to what I have to say, and works very closely with Jason so that I do not have to play telephone game. Crissy Ott is currently doing my needling. Chrissy is a little rough around the edges. Her personality does not mesh well with mine. I often feel like....I've gone back in time and she is my high school teacher looking down on me for getting a B+ grade that could have been an A. But from a professional standpoint, she knows what she is doing. I feel confident and comfortable when she is treating me. I have nothing bad to say about Emily. I do prefer Emily over Chrissy, but that is just because of the personality difference. Amelia is the one who is currently treating my whiplash. She is so friendly and bubbly, it's hard to be sad when I am around her. She also talks to all of the other physical therapists for me, so I don't have to play telephone or repeat myself six times. Their whole office is very synchronized and their communication with each other, as well as with me, has always been great. I have never felt like I did not get my money's worth when I went in for a treatment. I've never felt rushed. Even when they are running behind schedule by 10 minutes, they still spend the full allotted amount of time with me. On days where I only see Jason, I'll notice that Amelia, Kat, or Sarah will stop what they are doing and greet me by name. I highly recommend Rebound physical therapy if you've had a hip surgery (or 3 in my case). They also offer light, laser, and shock therapy. They are incredibly affective. It is worth the money. Insurance will not cover these, because insurance is run by the devil. 50 dollars for a session is absolutely worth it.

TL;DR -- The staff was rude and incompetent; the doctor was arrogant, rude, and also incompetent…read more(and honestly, an idiot: see the last bullet point). These people are supposed to be in healthcare -- they should be caring. No wonder this place is going under. if I could give -20 stars I would. let me give the detailed run down of my experience: -I went in with a medical issue that seemed like it could be something neurological , maybe a stroke, brain tumor, or some kind of nerve inflammation. I was having balance issues ( a symptom) , I had to be wheeled in the room and a nurse came in to hook me up to the IV, take my temperature, and all that. She was really rude! I tried to some light conversation, crack a few jokes, but they mostly ignored me.Every nurse provided "care" were super rude and neglectful!. Once, I had to use the restroom, so I asked for assitance since I was Hooked to an IV and was still having blanace issues and no one came for about 10 min. We had to ask TWICE! Another time, my husband was watching a TikTok video (Steveioe), but it sounded like it was coming from the next room so I joked and asked if it was actually Steve next door (I thought that'd be kind of cool) and the nurse replied, "NOW you're hallucinating?" I couldn't tell if it was sarcasm. These people can't take a joke! and definitely weren't taking my problems seriously. She sounded like she was accusing me of making up my symptoms. The first time I saw the doctor (she was skinny, had glasses, and brown hair slicked back in a bun), they wouldn't tell me her name. She talked down to me, and when I explained my symptoms, she acted like I was making them up. She was really condescending. I suddenly started to spasm. It was new, so I was a little worried. The nurses completely ignored it until I finally asked if there was anything they could give me to help. They gave me a low dose of Valium, but again, they acted like I was there because of a drug problem. I only asked because it helped calm my leg spasm. I figured they'd give me a muscle relaxer or something. They did a CT scan and an MRI on my brain (both came back clean, so at least there was some good news there!) But since I was still having symptoms, I was waiting for the doctor (same one) to either run more tests, refer me to a specialist, prescribe something, or at least give me some advice or a referral to someone who could help. The issue could have been my nerves?? She didn't do ANY of that. Instead, she suggested... Ibuprofen. IBUPROFEN. Like, what?! When I called her out on it (okay, I admit my tone wasn't great, but I didn't curse her out or anything), she got mad and just walked away while I was trying to talk to her about MY HEALTH. This was the worst experience I have ever had in ANY PLACE. IBUPROFEN?!?! WHICH MEDICAL SCHOOL ALLOWED YOU TO GET A LICENSE ARE THEY THAT DESPERATE??!!

There was one lady sitting at the desk in the back that just had a terrible attitude toward me and just seemed like she really hated her job. Brittany, PA, should remember to get all the pertinent information before casting judgment…read more Understandably, this clinic does not prescribe to alcohol or drug abusers. The policy is 5 years sober. Okay. Unfortunately, when I was asked about a health condition I have, she jumped immediately to a conclusion that put me in that group, when I don't belong to that group. She therefore quite astoundingly refused pain management for me. Wow. I will say (and did say in office), my condition could be made deadly with the consumption of alcohol, so I quit over a year ago when I found out about it. It certainly would have made sense for her to ask about the genetics, metabolic situation, and other health reasons that Caused my illness instead of just assuming that as I discontinued my small consumption, "I must have been an abuser of alcohol". Such behavior is below most health care professionals.. facts are usually drawn before conclusions. She may need more training in the prevention of abuse of power, judgmental behavior, and worsening stereotypes through discrimination. Three staff may also benefit from this same trading as the words "on the sauce" were clearly heard through my patient room for after she departed the room. Shameful. My regular health care providers, including my primary care and illness specific specialists, agree that although her discriminatory behavior and judgmental attitude would likely change if she were given the facts, seeking services from her or anyone in this office would be harmful to my own mental health. If this is her attitude toward a new patient, she may want to administer PETH testing to all of her current patients. I would hate to see prescriptions being given to current consumers of alcohol or other drugs! (That is not meant sarcastically.)

My consultation went fine, it was afterwards when it fell apart. I was assured that staff would…read morecontact my insurance to approve a procedure within days. I called for several weeks to see what the status was yet they never contacted my insurance. Everytime I was told that they hadn't called them yet and they were not sure why it was taking so long. I called insurance and they verified they had never been contacted. So now more than 10 weeks later I get the bill for the consultation which also was not sent to my insurance. This was supposed to be done before my appointment! The office does not seem to be run competently, which makes me wonder what kind of a mess there would be if I sought treatment through them. I would definitely look elsewhere for treatment.

I took it upon myself to make an appointment with Gil at the Wellness Center for her, because if left up to her she would probably just "deal" with the pain. Gil was kind enough to stay an hour after normal hours to see my wife because otherwise our busy work schedules would have delayed the meeting for a couple of weeks. We were both really impressed that Gil spent a large portion of our initial visit asking us both questions to really get to the root of the problem rather than just diving in and start adjusting her blindly. He determined that the culprit is probably some form of nerve damage and we are waiting for the Xrays to be examined. I will update this review when we see more progress, but after only one visit both my wife and I feel very confident that Gil Coleman is a great chiropractor that really cares about the people that he sees and is 100% invested in "helping" them rather than just providing them a service.

However, I am so overwhelmed with the quality of service I…read morereceived from Dr. Gil Coleman, I feel compelled and inspired to let others know about my experience. It has been truly amazing. A dear friend of mine had a back injury that other doctors were not able to successfully treat, leaving him in agony, and barely able to walk. I went online and researched looking for the best chiropractor in Fort Collins. I found dozens of reviews about Dr. Coleman all of which were 5-stars. My friend was frustrated, unable to work and in a great deal of pain. After a thorough exam, where other doctors didn't even touch him, Dr. Gil began treating my friend. I was impressed with Dr. Gil calling multiple times after hours to check on him. Impressed by observation, Dr. Gil's fierce determination to make sure his patients get well and does as he says "whatever it takes" to help them feel better. Impressed that he succeeded in eliminating my friend's terrible pain without drugs, and worked tirelessly in partnership with him to restore his well being and function. I have since placed my trust in Dr. Gil for my own health care, and referred my sister, neighbors, and my closest friends. We have all talked and found we've had similar experiences working with Dr. Gil: calls after hours, texts, and emails out of his sincere concern to check in on how we're doing. Who else does that these days? Believe me, if he can help you half as much as he has helped my friends and family, you'll be happy and back to doing what you love too. For over 10 years I had suffered from misdiagnosed "carpal tunnel" and had been told by 5 doctors that surgery was the only option. I was angry, frustrated, in pain, and could not pursue my dream career for 10 years. Dr. Gil, properly diagnosed me, and after only 4 treatments to my neck (not my hand or wrist), has restored full feeling and function to my hand and arm. I no longer have that debilitating pain. This, to me, was a miracle! Now I can pursue my dream career and do so pain free. Dr. Coleman restored my dreams as well as helping my body heal. Since the age of 11 chronic debilitating migraine headaches ruled my life. For over 50 years I tried to find relief, to no avail. It frustrated and truly saddened me to be unable to find help. Since meeting Dr. Gil I discovered he has special training and skills, and has written papers on unique methods to treat migraine headaches. The cranial release treatment he does is amazing. "I am no longer a migraine sufferer"! I've since asked myself what would my life have been like without 50 years of migraines and headaches? Hmmm. Dr. Gil is my "not so secret" weapon for my health. I have my life back, thanks to him. If you, or someone you care for are frustrated and looking for answers like I was, you're fortunate to find the miracle worker I have who has exceeded all my expectations. I am so thankful for people sharing their experiences online about this man, if they didn't share, I would still be suffering. I hope whoever reads this finds the help they need. Paying it forward, Cathy Iverson
