This place is exactly what is it - a wholesale bromeliads store. Generally, most of their business is from commercial landscaper who buy in bulk. But the public like you and me are always welcome. FRIENDLY and EXTREMELY HELPFUL staff member so I signed up for a consult on their website. TIFFANY and MARY were THE BEST and spent a very unrushed, informative hour with me explaining what plants flower seasonally and year round, which ones attract butterflies, which shrubs and palm trees grow fast and which ones require little maintenance, and the advantages of using pine bark mini nuggets over any other ground cover. PRICING WAS THE SAME OR LESS THAN what the big box stores charge and the nursery's plants, shrubs and trees were much healthier looking than anything I saw at the other places. DO shop locally at Scott's Landscape Nursery and make sure you ask for TIFFANY or MARY! You will be getting better products, saving money and meeting two of the nicest, knowledgeable landscapers who can offer excellent recommendations and have you leaving feeling great about your purchase.

In an effort to try something different, I went to Depot Nursery. The owner (Alex) is knowledgable, easy to work with, and not afraid to steer you away from plants that won't do well in certain yard spaces with particular needs. All of the plants I purchased from Depot Nursery have survived and thrived well into maturity.... Which tells me that the plants they sell are of great quality. Their delivery was available quickly, installed quickly by Alex's guys, and I even had Alex cut in the garden beds and mulch afterwords. Their prices, selection and available service are better than any in town! Not to mention the fact that I've been able to place a special order with the wonderful manager Nicole for specific plants from them that aren't/weren't available from any nursery in town. Unfortunately, it took him 3 weeks to come up with a design quote. After 2 weeks we had moved on to another vender who gave us a great design, with added soil and compost amendments, and a drip irrigation system. A plan that took less than a week's time.
