All in all, it took about 15 minutes from start to finish and I'm a happy camper. I would definitely recommend coming here. My 2nd visit was 3rys later, I wanted a tatt on my left forearm, I was referred by the reception that randy was the right choice. I had a consultation with the artist randy who didn't have much experience. I've had an appointment that was rescheduled for another day. The day I got my tatt I paid the reception they told me due to their inconvenience of them having to reschedule my appointment. I received a discount that was cool, hours later when it was time for aftercare. I've had unwrapped my bandage checked my tatt in the mirror the artist missed a line at the top. The end of the script wasn't aligned, the rest of tatt was all messed up. While I was at the shop it looked good. I was furious of the results. It didn't make any sense whatsoever I've seen a customer that ended up with excellent tatt. Mine is a failure. The artist randy no longer works there, they have a high turnover of tattoo artists. I'm never going back to way cool tattoo, they've lost my business. Their prices are reasonable but the artist sucks!!! I highly don't recommend tattoo shop.

Initially, I had just gone for a piercing (done by Tom) and he was extremely thorough in regards to the procedure as well as aftercare but when I needed help putting the jewelry back in, I was charged $5 which I thought was kinda weird because I know of NO place that charges just to put put jewelry in. When getting my tattoo done I had some of the other artists ask me the reasoning behind my tattoo and upon trying to explain, they ended up laughing and ridiculing what I wanted; I thought it was so incredibly rude and just unprofessional overall. Apart from that, I was told that if I ever needed a touch up, I could come back and that it'd be free. So I called to make an appointment for a touch up and I was told (rather rudely) that Way Cool doesn't do free touch ups and I'd have to pay about $80. Apart from these incidents, they tend to bad mouth other tattoo shops; I get that when you're representing a business, you have to make it look good but my saying crappy things about other places, it's just unprofessional. Overall, Way Cool (from my experience) just seems like a place where they like to rip you off.

Nude Buddha: Our first appointment, we showed up and they had not recorded us in their appointment book. 2nd appointment, booked with an artist and was told that HE was not going to do mine but someone else would, and this was the owner that assured me they were not like the other shop, but professional. Not cheap and told touch ups were included. Made an appointment for a touch up, showed up and no one wrote us in the appointment book again, so we left. Made a 2nd appointment for a touch up, took 3 weeks to coordinate both artists. Got smarter, called to make sure that they were expecting us and was told that the OWNER was not available for the touch up as he was busy doing drawings etc..asked to speak to him, was asked to leave my # and that he would call me back in 10 mins, as our appt was in 45 mins. 2 hours later still have not heard from him and did not go to appointment. Does anyone know a tattoo shop that has good artists and is balanced business wise. A business that is accountable, responsible, professional and provides good customer service and gives a S--T? Hopefully local in the Halton Region. Do you think they would care if I called the better business bureau?

The piercing is quick and professional but from the few people I know that have gotten piercing here the piercer is kind of just cold. Doesn't talk or offer advice. She is straight to business and it can be off putting to some. Highly recommend Dave and Alison as they are the two artists I have worked with. I got my mucosal liner done here for top and bottom and it cost $800. I thought it was quite expensive but at least I know why. She's the only health board certified permanent makeup artist in Canada and that costs a lot to get!! At first I didn't think it was enough but when it came time for my touch up (4-6 weeks later) I thought it was good. When you first get it done it is very vibrant and dark. After it starts to peel and scab off it becomes much lighter and the true color doesn't come out until about a month later because that hazy dry dead skin is covering the pigment. She gets you to lay down on a table (similar to when you get a facial done) and she does the first pass with the tattoo needle without any numbing cream. This is to allow the gel to to work. I felt everything though because I teared up so much the first time and I think it washed away the numbing gel. Some people say they don't feel anything but scratching but I felt everything and it's really painful. She is very quick and does take frequent breaks so you can take a look at the work she's done and ask her to tweak anything. Honestly less is more for permanent makeup. I don't want to look over done on a daily basis and when I do want more I just put on more eyeliner for special occassions anyway. I see so many of my friends with way too much makeup on for daily wear and I just think it takes away too much from their natural beauty. The work she did on me was good because I don't feel over done but yet I don't look like death. LOL! I have thin eyelashes and the little bit on the lash line and on the wetline really helps open my eyes up and make me look more awake. I would refer her to other people because she is good at what she does.
