We recently purchased a cottage up by the lake, and called about using Good Neighbor for our trash removal. We mentioned that we may have a few rentals here and there, and Barbara turned extremely rude and refused to provide service because of the rentals. She offered her opinion that our house would be trashed, party central, 15 people sleeping here (it's a small 3 bedroom), and that we would have an excess amount of trash. We've had multiple rental properties in the past and recognize the risks, and take the appropriate actions to mitigate these risks. Unfortunately we will have to look elsewhere for service. I had high hopes after reading previous reviews, but unfortunately this was not my experience. read more

Can't say enough good things about Good Neighbor Services. Barb couldn't have been more helpful. She even called the night before to confirm our appointment. They arrived with on time, charged less than I had been quoted (how often does that happen) and were quick and efficient. I highly recommend giving them a call for any removal of clutter or trash you need hauled away. read more

We've been using Good Neighbor Services for several years to pick up the trash on a weekly basis at our lakeside cottage in New Hampshire. We rent the cottage, so getting the trash taken care of between guests was a major headache until Barbara and Good Neighbor came along. Our town also requires strict adherance to recycling guidelines, but GNS handles all of that even if the guests don't. I can't overstate my satisfaction with Barb and her company staff. I asked for special handling of my driveway and property, and they are happy to oblige. We were moving our elderly mother from her 4Bd/4Ba home of over 40 years in New Hampshire to a new home closer to relatives out of state. The new house is only 2Bd/1Ba so there was considerable downsizing involved in addition to clearing out the 40 yrs of accumulation! Barb and her team came expecting 1-2 truckloads, and wound up hauling away 5 full truckloads of garbage, recycling and donations to local charities. They were quick, easy, and unbelievably pleasant to have help with this process.
