Sold him a new heating element for just over going rate, but hey, keep in local. The element was not the problem. They sent out a service guy, who know the make and model and age of range. Well, this will shock you. The range is too old for parts. Did not see that coming. So almost $100 later, and would gave back 50% of the heating element, we both learned a lesson. So far going out to a customers house for less then 5 minutes, seriously, less then 5 minutes only to say, "its too old to get parts, check ebay" and then charging almost $100 for service call, NO THANKS.
