We have passed through Infant II (another great experience) and are now in the toddler room. We are amazed with how much our little one has learned and grown and truly believe Tiny Town has played a big part in that. There has been the occasional concern, but Jackie and the teachers have always been responsive to questions and comments. We are expecting baby #2 and have already "reserved" this babies spot. Thank you for all that you guys do, Tiny Town!

You know. I was actually not going to write this review at all, until something happened tonight…read more(10/6/2018). Tiny Town Child Development Center has some decent staff, but there are a few there, to be honest, who don't care. If they say they do, then they are lying. It seems like they are just there for a paycheck. There have been times where my son's mother or myself weren't able to pick him up; on multiple occasions the people who picked them up reported that their IDs were NOT checked. There have been multiple occasions where a particular staff member is more concerned with being on their cell phone than paying attention. for instance: I picked up my son one afternoon, I was handed an incident report while I was told that "I don't really know what happened." Now. I don't know about anyone else, but when I am handed an incident report, there had better be better explanation as to what happened. There were multiple occasions where this was said to me. Other times when another child bit my son, and I didn't find out about it until I went to give him a bath that night. It wasn't just one bite. It was THREE. The worst thing, by far, that my son has been subjected to was an alarm that was used in the pre-k room when the children would get too loud. The alarm was compared to the same type that a fire/smoke alarm makes. When the kids would hear this alarm, they were to sit down and place their hands on their heads. The reason why this was particularly bad is because when the smoke alarm when off in my apartment, my son covered his ears and SAT DOWN. This is completely unacceptable for a "school" or a "daycare" to be teaching my son. Especially when any alternative that isn't an alarm, like turning off the lights perhaps, is just as effective. Then, after we decided to pull our son from the program they had, I spoke to the director about the alarm and my experience overall. I said "Not that any of this matters now..." the response I got was "You're right. It doesn't matter now."
