It was one hour before they close on a weekday so I knew I was kinda cutting it close but the owner was there and was able to take care of me right away so it all worked out. It's got a very old-fashioned barber shop vibe and decor which is pretty cool, along with a bunch of sports related stuff decorating the walls. Normally I like to get a beard trim too but time was a little tight so I just got a regular straightforward haircut for my first visit. He did a great job but he was also really fast, like genuinely the fastest haircut I've ever had in my life. I'd chalk this up to his experience, as he seemed to give a good quality cut in about a quarter of the time I've seen others take. If you need a reasonably priced good quality cut and appreciate efficiency I'd recommend trying them out. The only reason I'm not going with 5 stars is because I've only been there once, but if future visits are like this I'd probably bump it to 5.

They earned my respect when I walked in for the first time, unsure of their policy, and informed me someone was ahead of me but they hadn't showed up for their appointment and offered me the chance to wait and take their place. I did. When the customer showed up (LATE) they refused to service them immediately. It was mostly polite but I pride myself on being punctual and respecting others, no matter how "little" it seems. I was told that I was fine that I did not need to come in for a consultation and that the services will be able to be done. I don't think she knows what she was doing. I understood that she said she could not do the perm because of the hair color, but said that I needed a trim. Trust the process, is what I kept telling myself and it was the worst mistake of my life. It was more like a chop. No curls, my hair is uneven. I can't even describe the way it looks. One donation can saves THREE LIVES!) I looked Sport Clips up and saw that it had all men in the photos. So I called and a very friendly lady named Jennifer answered. I inquired if they also serve females. She assured me they do and told me to come on in! I used their online check in and it gave me an estimated wait time. It allowed for me to pick the stylist or just go with the first available. Well, with Jennifer being so warm and friendly on the phone, I schedule my appointment with her. When I arrived I was checking in at the kiosk and heard "Renée! You're here. Welcome in." I looked up to see the beautiful smile coming from the familiar voice on the phone... Jennifer. I felt like I'd just seen an old friend for the first time in a while. She told me it wouldn't be long before she could get to me. When she called me back I told her how neat the decor and feel of the salon was. She explained that they really want to make it an experience, not just a haircut. I could tell! When I told her that it was my first time, she said that I would get a complimentary MVP treatment which included a free shampoo. Wow! What an unexpected bonus! She took me back to the sinks and had me lean back. She then TURNED ON THE CHAIR WHICH BEGAN TO VIBRATE! It didn't stop there. She then propped my feet up. She asked me if the water temperature was good and proceeded to tell me exactly what she was using on my hair. (Tea Tree) She didn't just wash my hair: she massaged my scalp. Oh! She also put these hot towels that smelled amazing on my face, as she washed my hair. Since I had on mascara, she was mindful to just leave them uncovered. Just the shampoo, conditioning and massaging was amazing. But when I got to my chair, she grabbed a massager and started working on my shoulders and back! Talk about going SO FAR beyond my expectations!! Jennifer not only relaxed me, but she was so incredibly inviting and warm. We chatted as she cut my hair so attentively. It was so clear that she loves her job. I knew that from the phone call before I ever arrived. I just can't say enough about what a treasure Jennifer is in that salon. I know she's listed as team lead, but that girl needs a raise. I hope Sport Clips values her for what she's bringing to their clients each day. I had only planned on coming in to redeem my coupon. But as long as Jennifer is there, I'll now be coming for all my haircuts!

At first l was turned away but then the reception said Ivy was available as she had a cancellation for a haircut. Poor Ivy thought she was doing just a haircut but when l told her l wanted a color there was a little confusion but she was a good sport and was gracious enough to spend the extra time it takes to do this processing even though it was at end of day. I explained what l was looking for color wise but after all the work she did the end result wasn't quite what l wanted. At that time she volunteered to do it over and she was happy to help. She was great to deal with and such a good attitude. As a business the shop has many busy stylists and the business is in a convenient location but atmosphere could do w a makeover especially the stylists stations.
