We found the Say I Do to Details team online and I was highly impressed by their good reviews. Their planning exceeded my expectations. From being always available, to providing suggestions and insight into timeline, and coordinating everything so well the day of, their team is simply the best. I admire their passion for planning and it was so incredible working with them. I worked with Paola and Sandra directly and Sandra was there day of. Paola and Sandra are very experienced, professional, and kind. Both were actively involved in the planning process. I'm extremely type A and it's hard for me to trust people to take over (especially when I knew it was one of the most important days in my life) and take on tasks, but I trusted them 100%. To start off, they have a lot of experience working at Terannea, which made things a lot easier for us and helped things run smoothly. Moreover, the vendors I selected knew of Paola and Sandra and their team and I admired their good reputation in the wedding industry. Knowing what I know now, it would have been easier for me to have hired them as full on planning instead of day of coordination just because they're so good at what they do that I really trust every decision they make. I keep getting comments from my family and friends that the wedding was one of the best they've been to. Moreover I've received many comments specifically from my bridal party and close family about the incredible planning team keeping the day so smooth and on track. There's a trend on social media about "wedding regrets" and my husband and I keep saying to eachother thankfully that we have zero regrets. Every vendor was amazing and the planning team really went above and beyond what was asked of them and for that I'm forever grateful. I appreciate that the team asked us what 3 things were important to us on our day. 1. our guests have an amazing time 2. the timeline runs smoothly 3. to have fun That's exactly what happened! I am grateful that I was not stressed the day of and we are so happy we found Sandra and Paola as they helped turn my dream wedding into a reality. The wedding went even better than I could have imagined and I can say without a doubt that it would not have gone so perfectly without Sandra and Paola with Say I Do to Details. I was referred to Desiree by a friend and while I could have found cheap flowers in downtown LA, I decided to work with Desiree because not only does she offer the best selection but she is extremely patient, creative, and takes your vision and makes it a reality. Desiree had great communication and was super responsive. She listened to what I wanted but also made great recommendations. The day before the wedding she texted me photos to show me the progress of her work. I was so happy with the final result and all of the flowers at the wedding. I loved my bouquet and all our wedding party loved theirs! I would recommend Desiree to anyone looking for a great flower designer who is creative, professional and reasonably priced.

Christina was so sweet and eager to make our day special even before she knew we planned to hire her. We booked Christina for her "month-of" services but when I had questions months before the wedding, she didn't hesitate to help. Though my husband may disagree, I like to think I was a chill bride but even the chillest of brides has a planner full of questions from how to get elderly guests to a faraway bathroom to how much water I needed to buy for a hot-summer wedding. Christina promptly answered every question and every time I spoke with her I felt like planning a wedding wouldn't kill me after all. She had so many cost-saving tips that helped us have a gorgeous, budget-friendly wedding our friends and family are still talking about. Completely forthcoming about her approach, she tries to tailor each event to her client's desires and budget, but she does not work well as a pawn. Know in advance: If you want to work with her, you must have a clear idea of what you want, but you mustn't try to micro-manage her. Simply put, the best way to work with her is to tell her what you want, let her do her thing, and keep in touch along the way. Following this model, she has helped her clients give wonderful parties. I write this review as one who has assisted her on several events. As for Rachel S.'s review -- well, the woman is an anomaly among Julie's clients. And I know whence I speak. To say she was trying to deal with would be putting it lightly. She was already anxious and behind schedule when she hired Julie. As far as her invitations were concerned, she sent the assignment without a clear definition of what she wanted but was ready with complaints when it didn't come out right. She also assigned Julie to mail the invitations for her but didn't bother to supply a return address. When it came to planning the actual event, if Julie disagreed with her on even smaller points, such as floral arrangements -- well, she didn't take disagreement too well. This review may sound like back-biting, but I assure all of you other readers that this is not what I intend. I simply mean to caution you that Rachel S., I think, represents the exception. Those who bring Julie ideas of what they want -- with enough time to get them -- and the confidence to let her do what she does well will not be disappointed.

I am both a young professional and a student, so I did not have an overwhelming budget. However, I explained to Julie that I wanted to stretch my budget as much as possible and throw an amazing party, so she did just that! Julie took care of everything; I didn't have to lift a finger. She was not overbearing or annoying, either. I told her what I was going for and she completely made it happen without having to call me 50 times per day! The food was spectacular, perhaps the best party food I've ever had. All of my party guests went out of their way to compliment the delicious food, especially the appetizers! They were so well-presented too! They looked like edible art! Julie made sure the music and the decorating were perfect, too. By the end of the night, everybody was dancing. As for the bar, well, Julie knew exactly what to serve so that all of my party guests were happy. I'm not much of a drinker, so I had no idea what to buy. She even hired a funny, friendly bartender to keep my guests entertained and their glasses full. If you are thinking of planning a party, definitely call Julie Brown first! We booked her early-she was our first vendor booked-which was the best call as I loved having someone I could go to to help me verify vendors, suggest design options, and answer other random planning questions throughout my 1 1/2 year-long engagement. Most notably was how Claudia handled the extreme weather that caused us to have to change venues, 2 days before our wedding. She very nimbly helped me translate our existing layout and communicate our decisions and preferences to the venue. I'm so thankful that she orchestrated an outdoor ceremony, which was my goal, and designed the most beautiful interpretation of my dream in a completely new space. Finally, Claudia was kind and lighthearted throughout the entire process, but has exactly the type of direct forward, take-charge manner that is so needed when coordinating a wedding!
