Dr. Rahim has saved my life. I live a life more fulfilled and free life because of his quality and intuitive chiropractic treatment. I started receiving chiropractic treatment in April 2012, at the age of 22, after seeing various MD's, PT's, acupuncturists, and massage therapists with no real answers. These chiropractic treatments from other doctors did help me but I never made any progress until my first visit with Dr. Rahim in April 2016. I stumbled upon Dr. Rahim because the Gonstead chiropractor I was seeing had gone out of town and I was in desperate need for treatment. His office was willing take me in and I had photos of my X-rays with me. My first visit with him he spent ONE HOUR of his time with me discussing my issues, even though I was not even his client at that moment. Dr. Rahim did his adjustments on me, and leaving that office I was full of bliss and hope because I had felt better than I had in ten years. I did not know it was possible for me to feel that way. I have been a client for a year and a half with Dr. Rahim and have made more progress in these 18 months than I did in the additional 4 years I had spent in other chiropractic treatment. You really get what you pay for. His prices may be higher than average but you end up spending less in the long run. Most other chiropractors will spend five minutes with each client but that has never been the case with Rahim. For me I have made incredible progress and healing and I only wish that I had been able to get treatment from him earlier on in my life. read more

Go to the Gonstead website and type in your location and you will most likely find a reasonably priced practitioner close to you. Dr. Rahim overcharges and is less attentive if you don't get filmed- WHICH HE CHARGES YOU FOR! On top of the $1,200 & $200 thereafter, he CHARGES TO FILM YOU AND TO USE YOUR LIKENESS IN ALL PERPETUITY! He also charges $200 if you have to cancel in less than 24 hours, yet he is able to cancel you at his discretion. I have heard of charging $50, but $200??? $200 sessions are 10 minutes if you are not being filmed, and he only lets you pick 3 areas that are bothering you for him to work on. After all that price gouging, they continue to try and sell you things at the end of the session. I felt forced to buy these pills he recommended. They had fillers and flow agents that are not safe for human consumption, and are banned in Canada and Europe. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the label until I got to my car. Also, he doesn't validate parking. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM. read more

You have to be crazy 1000.00 for a 30min exam and 200.00 per visit what a scam And the droctor does not return calls But has videos of people healing snake oil salesmen read more

Bad experience. Overrated. Not worth it. If you're like me and you suffer from years of chronic back pain, have tried every remedy in the books, feel like you've sought out every possible solution, and are hoping that this "magic chiropractor" will adequately diagnose and heal you, then you might want to rethink your decision. For starters, this man charges you $1,200 for an hour long first-time-patient consultation plus an additional $200 per every future visit, and does not accept insurance. I'm sure anyone can agree he is absurdly overpriced, but considering the fact that people travel from all parts of the country to see this man and him having over a million subscribers on YouTube, his specialty must be worth a try. Unfortunately however, my experience was not at all worthwhile. Mind you my consultation was off-camera, which is why I believe it went down the way it did. It started off with the same charisma you would see in his YouTube videos, and him going over my x-rays. As he went on, he indicated that my pain roots back to an injury that must have occurred during my adolescent years (high school). I was shocked to hear that, because I know for a fact I have NEVER suffered an actual back injury, rather, my pain strictly stems from sitting down. So when I tried to point that out to him, he downplayed me in a condescending manner. He carried on arrogantly boasting about his credibility, citing "People travel from around the world to come see me." That's when he lost me, and for the remainder of the session, he continued to speak in sugarcoated language, attempting to impress me. He also seemed to be more interested in small talk than actually diagnosing my issue. Like dude I didn't pay you $1,200 to hear you talk about your favorite Kabob restaurant. Anyway, eventually the time came for his "magical adjustment," THIS MAN LITERALLY DID THE SAME EXACT CRACKS YOU WOULD GET AT ANY GENERIC CHIROPRACTOR. They had no positive impact on my spine whatsoever, I felt no different from seeing a mainstream chiropractor that charges you $20/visit. I was utterly disappointed, especially because I have been suffering from back pain for years. He doesn't understand that those of us who do decide to come to see him, have likely exhausted every avenue of medical care before coming to see him. I mean it turned out to be a joke, and a waste of my money. This man indeed makes a great snake oil salesman, like the other review mentioned. I have seen tons of chiropractors throughout the years, so a couple swift neck cracks, and ear pulls that serve no purpose do not impress me. My advice to anyone reading this and considering paying this guy a visit. Rethink your decision. Don't fall too gullible for the illusions depicted in his YouTube videos. I mean it's great social media marketing, but understand that this chiropractor sees numerous patients per day, and I would say cherry picks the gullible patients who are impressed by a couple cracks. If chiropractors do serve you well, I would say save your money and consult an affordable one, the service provided would be the same, and hopefully they're nicer. Aside from everything, kudos to his staff and receptionist who were very nice with me. And good luck to everyone suffering from back pain. read more

I have suffered from lower back pain for many years, basically since I was a child after having fallen down a couple steps while playing. I finally decided to give Dr. Rahim a try after a year of seeing how much he had helped my boyfriend through his journey. Going to see Dr. Rahim is one of the best decisions I've made, after my first visit I immediately felt such relief in areas I've had pain in for years and by the third visit I was basically pain free. I now only go for maintenance visits. I am so thankful to him! He truly cares for his patients and loves what he does. read more

Dr Rahim is truly one of a kind. It's been said in a couple reviews, but it's worth getting out of the way. Yes he is "expensive" but that word is relative. Sure, you can go to a generic Chiropractor and pay less money. As someone who went down that road for 10 years (saw a ton of other types of doctors as well) and had next to no results with most of them, I view most of the other doctors I've seen as "expensive". I spent money on them and most times got nothing in return, whereas with Dr. Rahim, I've gotten great value on every dollar I've spent. Ask your pricing questions up front and you'll be fine. With that out of the way, what do you get? You get someone extremely knowledgeable in his field and someone that will shine a light on problems you didn't even know were causing you issues. I went from headaches every day, being dizzy, and not being able to do most of the things I enjoyed in life to being almost back to my old self with about an 85% reduction in problematic symptoms. I'm still getting better as we work through the process and for the first time in 10 years I honestly know I'll get to 100% better down the road. Quick disclaimer, my body was seriously messed up when I started this journey so my recovery did not happen overnight. Half the bones in my spine were almost fused together with arthritis to put things in perspective (and I'm only 35). For contrast, I've also seen him help people like my girlfriend who after 3 visits were essentially pain free. She goes to see him once every couple months for maintenance and is doing great. Do yourself a favor, go see Dr Rahim if you have a structural issue but go with an open mind. Leave your ego and negative energy at the door. If you do those things you'll have an amazing experience and you might just end up like me where Rahim changes your entire life trajectory, not just puts a bone or two in place. Nothing but love for this amazing life changing doc. read more

Dr Rahim is a great Gonstead Chiropractor! After years of experiencing back and neck pain, I can honestly say Dr Rahim had provided me a great relief of pain. Highly recommend Dr Rahim. His office staff are very accommodating and courteous! read more

I wish i could give this place a zero start but i one will have to do. And is not about the doctor I never even got to see him the real problem is the the one that takes your call for new patient she will answer the phone real polite her name is Janet in the beginning she will explain what's the fee's but wait when you start asking question about what services they offer she will get really irritated and answer so unprofessional for what they are charging service should be better this not a great location at all if you want to be treated like that with no respect. read more

Dr. Rahim is the real deal. First things first, he does not take insurance. This means that your visits are all out of pocket. Second, he is expensive, but well worth it. So, be sure to call ahead of time and know how much he charges for initial consultations and follow ups. I'd been suffering with debilitating leg issue, that's kept me from walking or exercising vigorously for nearly 6 years. After seeing many doctors and running all kinds of tests, no one could come to a conclusion as to what was going on. Earlier this year, I decided to reach out to Dr. Rahim's office after running across his practice on YouTube. After examining my back, Dr. Rahim believed that misalignments in my spine could be causing nerve pressure in my lower extremities. (This has turned out to be the cause, along with a potential digestive issue we are working on.) After coming in for adjustments twice a week for almost two months, I am back to exercising (nearly at full force) and doing physical activities I haven't done in years! I am so glad I found him and I encourage anyone else with a similar story to come and see if he can help you. read more

Do not go here! THEY RUN A SCAM! The rating is based on the fact that I came out of his office and was charged $600 for the initial consultation! $600!?!?! This is outrageous. I told the receptionist as much and she said she was sorry they usually call new patients to tell them about the rate but said she hadn't had a chance to call me. Mind you I was in the waiting room with her for 30 minutes prior to seeing the Dr. She said we had some options regarding this fee: A credit for care, a payment plan or speaking to the Dr about it. I said I'd like to speak to the Dr. She said, he's in with another patient now so we'll call you later this afternoon. I said, make sure you don't charge my card until we talk. I didn't hear from them all afternoon so I called them. No answer, left a VM. No reply. Tried again, No answer no reply. Tried again and again and again, over a dozen times and at least 4 voice mails. I've contested the charge with my credit card company as Gonstead Wellness clearly has bad business practices and I feel completely ripped off. Even if they were to offer me a credit for care, I'd never return to this doctor knowing how much he could care less about a new patient. Just for a reference of price I called six different chiropractors in the area, some on the same street just a block or two away. For an initial visit they range in price from $60-$140. So, it makes no sense that Gonstead Wellness charges $600.00 for no more service than the others. EDIT: My appt. was on September 8th. The receptionist finally answered when I called yesterday 9/28 from a different phone number. She said she never saw any missed calls or voicemails. She said she hadn't called me back initially because the doctor had said there was nothing he could do about the bill. And she said that she couldn't discuss the rate prior to the appt because there was another patient in the waiting room. If I had a new client come in and I charged a significantly higher rate that other service providers I would tell them! She is absolutely part of the scam. Another yelper was given $300 back. Of course he could change the bill but he is choosing not to. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL SCAM! I'm contacting the BBB. No one should be told after their appointment that the cost is more than 5x higher than a similar service elsewhere with someone that is not an egomaniac. read more

I fractured my fibula 2 months ago. Dr. Rahim came highly recommended as a miracle-working chiropractor. At my one and only appointment with him, I was greeted by a smiling receptionist who gave me forms to fill out and then I sat talking with a young guy who was filming for Dr. Rahim's guru-style youtube videos. This guy was super enthusiastic and I got more excited about the treatment. I went into the appointment without payment being discussed in advance for three reasons: 1) In all my years of chiropractic care, the most an initial session and consult has ever cost has been $120. 2) Two friends recommended this chiropractor and one of them encouraged me to ask to waive the consultation fee, which I mentioned to the receptionist on the phone. She never said a word contrary to this. 3) I mistakenly got caught up on the 'cult of personality' around this guy. Youtube videos, recommendations, stoked videographer. Plus, Dr. Rahim himself is a fast-talking, overly-confident, self-proclaimed expert in his field. I was in pain and fear... and I wanted to be healed. Even if it was $150, I would have paid this. After an hour of being filmed and Dr. Rahim supposedly working his magic - with no real connection or regard for my experience (he was all about himself and his brilliance), I walked out of there hopeful, but not really knowing what had just happened. I figured I would see progress over time and in the next session... which I was committed to doing. Until... I got the outrageous bill of $600! $600 for one hour of chiropractic care! Never in my life have I heard of something so highly inflated. No one believes me when I tell them this story. No one has ever heard of a chiropractor charging even close to this amount. Apparently, he charges $150 for 15 minutes of service! None of this information is posted on his website and the receptionist did not state the fees. There is no way I would have gone through with the appointment if I had known this. I was able to get $300 knocked off the price, but even $300 is ridiculously high - and I had to grovel to get this amount and the treatment was never completed -so it was a waste of $300 and time. The office never responded to any of my calls or emails - which is telling of their lack of concern for clients. My fracture did eventually heal, but I don't think anything Dr. Rahim did was related to this healing. In fact, in a make-up session with another chiropractor (free consultation) and a general MD - both of them were horrified that he pushed on the fracture (and were also shocked at his prices). If you have lots of money and don't want to be considered in your treatment plan, then this doctor might benefit you. Otherwise, my advice is to find someone who truly cares about his patients more than himself and his image. read more

Dr. Rahim is amazing! My daughter plays sports and has an injury that is keeping her from performing. We've tried a few doctors without any success. Dr. Rahim was recommended by someone we know. We immediately made an appointment. Dr. Rahim is extremely kind, gentle, and kid friendly. He explained everything to me and my daughter in a way that made us understand exactly what is going on with her body. After one session, I was able to see some improvement in my daughter's injury immediately and my daughter felt better right away. We will continue to come see Dr. Rahim to make sure she has a full recovery and to maintain her well being. read more

We recently went to Chapel Hill orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors and physical therapists for my 16 yr old son for extreme lower back pain and possible scoliosis. Which all said was mild and to do pt and possibly chiropractic. One pt told us not to go to a chiro till he was done with pt. Major red flag for me who has gone to both for sports injuries in the past. I was hesitant to travel back to So Cal where we used to live and pay out of pocket when my son found Dr Rahim. My son skate boards, surfs and at a young age is quite talented with woodworking and building homes. Staying still and not being able to do these things due to pain has taken quite an emotional toll as well. I decided to take a chance while I was in LA visiting my daughter. I called and emailed and explained we were on our last ditch effort to fix this kids back and get him back to being 16! I got a call back from his receptionist who was so kind and helpful a few days later. She was able to fit us in while I was in town and I flew my son out for a week for five treatments. We were quite blown away by what his X-rays showed( he'd had single view X-rays and mri at Chapel Hill)! They never X-rayed his hips and pelvis which were shown to be the cause of his curvature and so much pain. We saw a very clear compression fracture and old remodeling of injuries we missed from his skating falls. Each session made a big difference in his pain level and we are taking him to a Gonstead practitioner in NC in a few weeks to continue his care. Dr Rahim was so kind, honest and encouraging to my kid! He really gave him good advice on moving forward so he can Get back to his sports that he loves. We'd be happy going back to him when we are in town again and feel good about his recommendations on other practitioners closer to us. We still have to drive but totally worth it if we can keep seeing such great improvement! Yes it's expensive! But in my honest opinion, totally worth every penny. read more

Dr. Rahim is the best chiropractor! I encourage anyone to check out his Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIpqRCu9dbj6MqlRJiP9M4A and see the work for yourself. This man does not play around when it comes to your health and if you take his advice and work with him, you will be in the best health of your life. I have personally been a patient of his for over a year now and once I started the adjustments and doing the stuff he told me to do at home, I am the healthiest I have ever been. I was a skeptic at first. I had to do a whole lot of research and (some how) get a relentless painful back injury before I finally decided to see him. But once he made the first adjustment, my pain began to disappear (along with my skepticism). I recommend him to anyone and everyone. He is not just a chiropractor. He is a life saver. Do not let your ego or pride get in the way of your health. You only have one spine. Make sure it is being taken care of the best. read more

Savior! A Magic Trick! Saved me for the California Bar Exam. Had been studying so many hundreds of hours for the July 2013 exam that I actually injured my back and neck the week before the 18 hour exam. About me: was a natural skeptic. Had never been to anything like this. After 1 visit, had more mobility than I ever had before. After 2 visits, sat through the 18 hour exam. I never yelp unless its warranted, and it is ! Thanks, Dr. Rahim. MG read more

My daughter is a patient of Dr. Rahim. She is gymnast and was having problems with her heels. Everyone at the gym said it was because she was 10 and was experiencing growing pains. Took her to see Dr. Rahim and realized I couldn't even see her spine on her back when she bent to touch her toes. After a few adjustment she had no complaints about her heels and I can now see her spain. And if that isn't enough she had a really bad sprained ankle three weeks before sectionals...went to see Dr. Rahim and she was able to compete. She did fairly well considering she hadn't practiced in two weeks. I will and have told every person who will listen to me, my new and amazing experience with this chiropractor. He has changed the way I felt about seeing a back cracker. read more

Dr Rahim at Gonstead Wellness has been caring for my family and me for about 4 years. We consider him our "Primary Care Doctor." The thing is, Dr Rahim is a true healer! Gonstead Wellness' Doctor Rahim Salehmohamed has mastered chiropractology by truly understanding health and committing his life in helping people achieve wellness. Dr. Rahim does not just crack backs (while cracking you up!) but gives you the tools to succeed in health and to start empowering your life. Weakness is annihilated, growth becomes common, and transformation defines the process. I see people metamorphose every week after only fifteen minute sessions with him. Dr. Rahim starts the transformation process of people who are held back on their journey by a bump in the road no matter how big or small that bump is. He heals the pain in your body, like any chiropractor would, but also frees the spirit inside of your physical being into a world of growth and personal happiness. Without saying one word to him he will know what is misaligned in your spine and your spirit. Rahim will start the process of transformation, but one must be ready for it. His knowledge speaks through his hands as he heals you without prescriptions or medications. Through Rahim's methods the body heals itself; and by letting your body heal itself you become stronger in health and spirit. He guides people into a world of magnetic energy and growth. I would not call him a chiropractor, but a healer, transformer, and savior. read more

This is not just chiropractic, it is beyond that. Dr. Rahim's practice is restoration. The effects and differences that have come about from my visits with him have been spectacular. I was injured recently, and had a broken femur. In just a single adjustment I was walking better and the pain was gone. My words cannot explain the benefits of going to see him because his practice is unique. I have no doubt in my mind that you will thank yourself for life for going to him. The vast experience and time he has spent with his patients speaks volumes but doesn't need to since your own body will tell you that you have arrived at the place to make the pain vanish and for you to start living better and healthier life. I would not be able to imagine in what a suffering a dreadful state I would be in if I had not begun to go regularly. Thanks again Dr. Rahim! read more
