In addition, his team works hard and quickly, even coming on weekends to get the job done. They went above and beyond, installing the numbers and mailbox as the final finishing touches, which was unnecessary but so appreciated. In addition, he's a wonderful and kind person and it's a pleasure having him here. In the days after the project was over, my kids kept asking for him! I can't recommend him enough.

Simon is a "perfectionist" & is as much a "paint psychologist" as he is an extraordinarily skilled craftsman. Simon & team are efficient, professional & so much more. I would sleep upon my now-perfect walls, if possible.

In March a good friend of mine called me up and said that he found a good painter for me for the…read moreright price. He also recommended that I would do it right away. I called Josh and talked to him about my house that is huge and old; as I told him, I needed to repair the windows before the paint job could be completed. Josh said that he knew a carpenter who could do the windows and would paint the house after the repairs were done. As it turned out, I needed to get 27 windows fixed. So I had a bargain, a good carpenter who was ready to go up three stories to get my windows on the top floor and a painter who was going to paint my three-decker. Eventually, J&J came after all the repairs were completed and painted my house in 10 days. They were extremely efficient, professional, and pleasant to deal with. They answered my concerns by scraping, sanding, and caulking all surfaces. They used primer and good paint. Some of my neighbors came over to Josh to ask him whether he could paint their houses too. There was no drama, no mess. They told me in advance to inform other residents not to use the common area for a day or two. I definitely hope to hire them for inside jobs and recommend them for outside painting.

Ricardo of Pro Handyman Services did a superb job with the list of various repair jobs I had for my…read moreold house. I am not afraid of basic DIY projects but I know some jobs really benefit from the experience and skill of a detail-oriented professional. Ricardo is that guy. He excels at finish carpentry. He replaced three entry doors, installed a new stairway handrail and window, fixed the swing and alignment of an old entry door and a few other odd jobs. I was impressed with his thoroughness, which included painting/staining and trim work that matched well with existing woodwork. Also, Ricardo is one of the most professional vendors I've worked with lately. He arrived early and consistently each day and scheduling the estimate and work was smooth. His communication (listening) skills are much better than average.
