Legendary statesman and wit, Winston Churchill had an opinion about almost everything, and always eloquently worded these thoughts. A favourite of mine is his theory about my number one pastime, golf. Winston piped: "Golf is a game whose aim is to hit a very small ball into an even smaller hole, with weapons singularly ill-designed for the purpose."
I might not necessarily agree with Winnie, but there is a semblance of truth in what he was saying, and that is possibly why golf shops are doing so well. Golfers are constantly upgrading their gear, and must have all the latest gadgets to improve their game.
Golf is also not a sport for people wishing to dress up as pimps anymore, these days golfers are stylish and trendy, and the Golf Warehouse in Albany is home to a fine collection of golfing attire. My only problem with the store is the stairs...
