The game of golf was invented centuries ago in Scotland... Why it didn't stay there I don't know, because all the game achieved is to irritate those who swing the darned sticks. Golf is a game that needs to be worked on, in other words, it is never perfect - you always need to tinker with your swing, grip or if in denial, your gear.
The new Golf Centre in Silverdale takes advantage of those of us who refuses to believe that the lack of a low score lies with us, but could rather be found in our equipment. So we shop for new clubs, grips, bags or balls. If we like our clubs, then we add new grips, or we try out hybrids or belly putters. When does it ever stop?
Once you've got the new gear, it takes months to be able to hit the ball with them, and once you've mastered the clubs... Then the new series become available.
