It's got 2 bathrooms, it temperature controlled, it has multiple outlets so you can charge your phone. It's also got a water fountain, recently restored post-covid. It's got a book donation section so you can read something if your so inclined. Occasionally, the local paper is also available here for free. There's wifi access and this is also an Amtrack stop, which is an added bonus. Nowadays you don't get any service at the stations. No one works here anymore. You can get tickets via the Ventra app, the vending machines located on the southbound side of the tracks, or for cash-only on the train itself. The side with the building is the northbound side, meaning if you want to go to the city you can't hang out inside the station. It's a particularly convenient stop as it's near lots of things such as a local park, the public library, a donut place, ice cream stand, and lots of other places to eat. Overall, this is a very decent train station and I use it regularly.

We ended up using this service to Midway. We had a lot of luggage because we were moving across country. It was a seamless process. This service was reliable and took the guess work out of whether Uber or Lyft was going to show up with the appropriate amount of space.
