Tate was phenomenal in explaining the goals, numbers and working diligently to put me in the right clubs. He was very patient and the fitting was very relaxed, thorough, and quite informational. Tate even gave me a few tips that lead to me hitting the clubs better. He was very honest in suggesting only the clubs he felt I needed and encouraged me to come back with any questions I may have. I bought the clubs Tate recommended from PGA Superstore and couldn't be happier with the entire process. Can't wait to take my new clubs to the course.

He has helped tremendously with that and getting me to make better contact with my irons. What is great about Stan, he is a no bs type of coach. I don't mean a jerk either. He just does exactly what you pay him for. Cuts out the bs and goes straight to your faults and corrects them. He focuses and teaches permanent fixes. You also get to hit outside and see the ball flight just as you would on a golf course. Stan is also well respected as a fitter for clubs too. I respect the fact that i was all in for dropping $$$ to get fitter for custom clubs. He could've easily took my money, but he said "let's get you swinging better first, you may end up liking your clubs better". Gotta respect that. You can tell he really loves the sport and will invest hhis time and knowledge to help someone that has the willingness to learn. Do yourself a favor and take a lesson and see for yourself.

Not being a resident, I have little to say about The Links as a residence. I will say, though,…read morethat it's pretty unfair for Yelp! to lump reviews of their golf course with reviews of their apartments. Whatever one might make of the accommodations there, the golf course is pretty OK. I have now played The Links @ OKC half a dozen times. It can be a quick 1 1/2 hours if you are on a tight schedule, or a leisurely 3 hours if you have time to play the 9 holes twice. It looks like walkers and riders are about equal there. I've done both, but prefer to walk the course if I can. There is only minimal elevation gain, so walking is convenient. Of the 9 holes, there are two you could call "straight forward". All fairways are a bit tight, but only those two do not involve anything else you have to account for. The rest involve either a carry over water in some way, or lateral water you have to be careful of. There is a bit of a safety caution here. The layout is a bit confusing, but the issue is how close the fairways are to one another. It is VERY easy for someone from the long-and-wrong crowd to be one fairway off. Meaning you need to check the adjacent fairway carefully before you hit. And if you are new there, be sure to grab a score card for the map. The times I have played I have found the person in the office (you just can't call it a pro shop) to be friendly and accommodating. If not necessarily all that professional. And their rates are ridiculously low. Can't really say why, since the course is located in town and has always been in good shape when I played it. I have experienced someone breaking into cars. I have experience witnessing other people's cars getting broken into Windows broken office management every year has been very nonchalant rude and not understanding for residence. I have experienced flooding in my apartment home and molding due to golfers, breaking my windows with the golf balls . moving into a different apartment home and has not offered or replace carpet. I have experienced flooding because of piping and I have lived through no AC unit being down 5 days in summer . ect ect ect I do not recommend moving here. Economy is high and it is affordable, but it is not worth. The last management was Chasity .
