Was looking to get a wide-body kit installed and a liquid wrap done. He was all for it until I…read morenoticed the state of his shop and asked questions to reassure myself of my choice. Nothing out of the way nor did I mention his work was bad, he showed me his work and it looked alright! However, I didn't know that he under-quoted me and then proceeded to tell me to make sure some components of the body kit were on the car before he sprayed. I was okay with that but once I asked him, via text, if I am installing body or him (because it was in the price), he called and backed out and told me my questions implied that I was insulting/questioning his work. I told him that wasn't the case. However, when he tried to keep $400 of the $1000 dollar materials cost, I told him that was not really an option considering he did nothing but order paint, with my money not his. After that, in front of another customer who I wished, proceeded to insult me and say my business "is not welcome here" and after handing me the rest of my $400, politely told me in grand fashion to "Get the f*** outta here". I laughed because I could not imagine being that upset for not doing any work. I even told the customer that watched all this his work looked good, but I guess that did not matter. Work with him if you need decent work done, do not ask questions or he will use the fact that he "owns a business and does not need the money" over you if he gets frustrated. His tints look good, anything more will be up to your judgement. Felt bad for stepping on his toes but after the whole scenario I will only pass along negative information, a little dramatic to say the least. He could have also mentioned he under-quoted me and it may be a little more money, which I would have been okay with, but instead we went the route mentioned above, haha. I wish I was kidding about this whole debacle, but I unfortunately am not. Just stick with well known, accredited shops and pay a little extra. I can guarantee you this is my last cheaping-out mistake.
