He took it back to Hinds and they told him it was no longer inside the 2-year warranty and it would cost £500 to fix. This is absolutely appalling. He has since spoken to official Omega stores and they said that after it was serviced the time should be consistent for far more years than just 2. This is absolutely disgusting from a high street shop which my father has been frequenting for years. Unless they fix this he and his family will never be back, and we will be telling all our friends about it and warning them not to go to F.Hinds.

They also have on display some gorgeous items that would be suitable for christening gift and other landmark occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. It is only a small shop so there would not be much room for pushchairs but there is a covered area outside the shop which gives you the chance to browse items on display in the windows before entering the shop. I have always found the staff to be most helpful and they offer a repairs service and alteration service.

They stock everything you need to make your own jewellery at really affordable prices. Beads start at 2p so its a great place to go to make yourself a unique piece of jewellery. They also have a few items that have been made up and also some ready made kits and again these are on sale at really affordable prices. When I popped into the shop last time they were in the middle of a workshop so it's worth checking with the owners if you fancy learning how to make jewellery. Its great to see new shops opening in this town and although it is a little bit off the main shopping area, it really is worth a visit.

The lady in the shop was really helpful and got the pad out of the window so that I could try it on. I also tried on another one before making my mind up. She was very constructive and offered her advice on the rings. The store always has a nice display in the window, on one side it looks like most jewellery stores, but round the corner they always have unusual collectable items in the window which always catch my eye and it's a place that I always look at when trying to find birthday presents that are a bit different. The jewellery is high quality and Hinds is a respected name that has been around for years. I you are looking for a good quality piece then this would be one of the first places in Wellingborough that I would try. It is in the shopping centre which has free parking so the access is easy.

Having supported this business during lockdown by making purchases online, I was finally able to pay a visit to the shop having seen a couple of things I was interested in purchasing. Unfortunately, they didn't have the size I wanted, but the sales assistant offered the next size up - I said that I would need to take them home to try & I made my purchases. A week later I went to return my purchase as they unfortunately didn't fit, which is when I discovered that their policy is only to offer exchanges or credit notes - NO REFUNDS. I am disappointed that this wasn't made clear at the time of purchase. I clearly said that I would need to take the item home to try given that it wasn't in the size I really needed - if the sales assistant had said at that point 'are you aware of our returns policy?' - misunderstandings could have been avoided. There is a ridiculously small sign, partially obscured, resting on top of the radiator in the shop that details the returns policy for items purchased in the shop - annoyingly if I had purchased online, I was told that I could have returned the items no problem - go figure! The sign is not possible to read from the till point and should be at least as big as the sign advising you of the limits for card payments etc. I really wanted to support the local high street, but I'm afraid this has left a bit of a bitter taste & I won't be returning.

As you walk in, there are a couple of rails of clothing, with a good but small handpicked range of dresses, tops, sweaters, blouses, skirts and trousers as well as some shoes dotted here and there and accessories such as belts and handbags. Mainly catering for ladies in their early teens to early thirties, the clothes are usually from lesser known brands rather than designer but are in the latest fresh, vibrant and trendy fashions and very reasonably priced too! I picked up a gorgeous summer dress from there last summer for just £25 and then spotted Kelly Brook wearing the same dress on TV just weeks later! Making use of every available space, the small back room has more rails of clothes, basic curtained-off fitting rooms and an area for more accessories and toiletries from brands such as Burts Bees. The two ladies that run the boutique are very friendly and on hand to help and offer advice if needed. While small, I think the boutique offers a great clothes shopping experience and fills the gap that Market Harborough previously had for affordable fashion for the younger female.
