I was prepared to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion, but when I showed up at the office, the staff were so nice (all of them), and Dr. Carlson was so approachable, knowledgeable, realistic, and experienced - and the price was on-point compared to other places, that I decided to just go with Claris. And I was fully satisfied. Long story short, because of the strength of my distance vision prescription, my option was LASEK - the option with a little different approach and a little longer healing time. Dr. Carlson was VERY helpful in talking about options, because I also am starting to need bifocals (what?). He's a smart, straightforward guy, and I learned to just trust his recommendations.
