The gym is very spacious, has several cardio machines and has a turf area for certain workouts. The staff is friendly and the gym is very clean. On the downside, the gym does have a large open space in the middle of the gym, which seems like wasted space. The free weight area is not that big, so it's always busy. I usually go to the sauna after my workouts, but there are many hoops to go through in order to access the sauna here. You need to go to the front desk to request a key, only one person is allowed at a time, and no shoes allowed inside. Pretty inconvenient in my opinion. read more

Alright I went to fill my water and it was heated. It's actual hot water, the locker room sink puts out cooler water. Immediately melted my bottle full of ice and now I have only mildly warm water instead of hot water. read more

I'm always gym shopping because I move every few years. I'm so so glad this Gold's opened up near my house. I also needed a gym with a daycare for my two babies. I always look for specific amenities, machines & racks when I look for a gym & this gym has it all (besides a basketball court :( but that's okay). They have a cycling room and a huge yoga class room. I actually think the whole staff is pleasant. I usually get a 'hi' and 'bye' from someone at the desk. & I'm there daily. They even tell me 'thank you.' Like what???? No guys, Thank YOU! There's plenty of cardio machines. Even during busy times of the day like after work, 4-7 pm, I still manage to get my cardio in if I come to the gym at that times. The bathroom & locker room are always clean. The sauna is great. The showers are clean. The staff that watches my babies are great. They even told me my daughter had a fever and she did. I went to the doctor same day & they were right! Yeah, sure the weights can be all over the place sometimes but that's not the staff's fault. I literally see people leave weights around. Gym patrons need to learn to re-rack their weights. I'm really happy to be going to this gym. & bonus, if you go to Poke3 across the street next to CVS, you get 10% off. Watch for deals to join. I got this gym because it's 1. Close to me. 2. This is the "best" gym here is East El Paso. Do not get me wrong, it is a descent size but lacks many things - ex. No pool/jacuzzi. Their childcare room is a joke. It is big in size but barely has any toys for the kiddos. It is big enough to put a whole play area with slides and all but it is mediocre and not cheap. Even though El Paso is open and COVID restrictions have been lifted, they continue to have minimal childcare hours and have not opened their normal hours. This I find unfair as we are paying a full childcare fee for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours at night. I highly urge them to abide by their normal hours. Also, this gym gets packed in the evening by young kids who like to be on their phone instead of actually working out and using the machines. Seems they are there to mingle and pick up game instead of working out! It's so annoying! I am from CA and had 24 hour fitness and it was a lot bigger and cheaper! My husband and I come here early mornings and it is usually packed. Due to covid they only have every other cardio machine available to use this means only about half of machines are on. I've noticed that even some of the cardio machines that are supposed to be available for use are out of order and they have not taken the initiative to switch them out for working machines. It's very frustrating to see all these machines in the building and less than half are usable. read more

This location compared to Wedgewood is way bigger. It does have more people attend but not too crowded in the mornings. Plenty of cardio machines, squat racks, and machines. Its evenly spaced out. The staff is always in a good mood. One of the managers, Angela, is very involved in both and can be seen greeting people and picking up things that people leave behind. I wish I had more gyms like this back home in L.A.. I'd definitely recommend to anyone traveling or looking to get in some good workouts. read more

I honestly love the gym. But I'm struggling to know when fitness classes are. The website is not accurate and the schedule is not put on display at the gym. You have to ask desk what's happening that day. And hope your there for that time. There is a lack of attendance because of lack of promotion/times to attend classes. On the Instagram they only promote paying more to the gym to get a personal trainer. Hardly ever promote the fitness classes that come with your basic (expensive) membership. It's a struggle to find out what's scheduled for the day. I love all the fitness classes and the instructors. Golds here, just doesn't promote them enough. They keep cutting their classes and hiring personnel trainers....it sucks. I don't want a personal trainer. I want group fitness classes! read more

With the exception of the guy with the glasses who is actually pleasant, the rest of the front desk staff is unwelcoming to say the least. No smiles, barely a hello or a bye. This gym has been open since July and half of the cable machines are already broken with no idea of when they will be fixed. The weights are always on the floor next to the leg press instead of re racked, they are never in order. For the most part even when it's busy, i can work around the areas taken up and still get a decent workout in. The sauna is never crowded which is relaxing after a workout. read more

BEWARE BILLING PROBLEMS.....They definitely should assign someone to handle all their billing and contract issues & concerns. I sent several emails to Angela Torres. She responded when she felt up to it & never answered my questions. I was billed 13 months on my annual (12 month) contract & one month, I was billed twice. Very happy with the latest Golds Gym to open in far east El Paso. For starters gym has ample space, not claustrophobic at all. Selection of equipment is extensive, including cable machines and free weights. My wife enjoys the RIPPED classes offered by the gym as well. All in all very pleased with my membership!
