I guess that may not sound good for a "fitness class" but trust me, Mollie makes you work. But between "working our muscles to exhaustion" and then stretching our muscles to make them "long and lean," you feel strong and relaxed at the end of class. I did barre method for over a year in Chicago, so when I moved to Grand Junction, I was disappointed that there were no barre classes here. Mollie delivers a great class and it motivated me to eat better and be more physical (in hopes of losing my pregnancy weight). You will get an amazing work out at ROKbarre. Yoga V attracts the best - both new and experienced. Too many to list, but this is a start: Elizabeth leads a gorgeous deep stretch class with the addition of singing bowls. It will melt away your midweek stress like butter. As a "music" person, I'm impressed by playlists that are intelligent and non-intrusive. Monica is about as intuitive as they come, with a gentle yoga class perfect for those who don't want the heated studio experience, or need to refresh before going back in to the heated flow practice. Then there is Patrick.. I mean - this guy has the GIFT - blending accessible yoga, a sense of humor, and the magic of paced storytelling that always illustrates a lesson, without being yoga-preachy or cliche'. The studio goes above and beyond best practices for health, so I don't really worry about getting sick. Pricing is reasonable - with a level for anyone who wants to practice in a safe environment.
