Prices are OK, the drinks selection is not massive, but clever and a bit off the beaten path. Fret not, though, you can still get all the standard cocktails - and they even mix exotic drinks on request. And the quality of the drinks is perfect. Really perfect. Service is impeccable - friendly, helpful and attentive. And it seemed all (or most of) the smokers stood outside. (On a rather cold night, mind you.) Probably not to ruin the taste of the fantastic drinks for the other guests. Highly appreciated. Go there, drink there - you won't regret it.

Longo story: Though "Train" is just around the corner from my apparent, I discovered this place through a friend of mine, who wanted to surprise me. At the beginning it was literally just a train, but with the time it's place expanded a little bit and now they have a bigger area next to carriage. I always enjoy sitting inside of the carriage, because whenever I'm in, I feel like I'm on a journey. A great, fun journey with a nice cocktail in my hand, traveling through the night. Amazing, right? Service is always very fast and pleasant, stuff is in a good mood: dancing and singing :-) The owner doesn't use any cheap alcohol, obviously. So, the quality of drinks is pretty good. The guests of the bar are rather young. Nobody smokes inside the carriage (though I think it's allowed) and I love it. Atmosphere is always happy, which makes this place a perfect station right before stepping into a club. Prices are average. Toilet area can seem a little bit weird and cold in the winter time. Since the carriage itself is pretty tide, they put some toilets outside of it. Toilets are clean - no worries about that!

As I…read morerecall for a Monday night the hours were something like 7PM to 6AM, so I guess if you're looking to party on a Monday evening, Berlin got just the spot for you. As I recall we showed up around 10 or 11 PM and place was rather empty with some people trickling in and out of lounge area and a handful of people throwing down at the ping pong table. There's some outside seating available as well along the side walk and for the most part, service seemed to be just order at the bar and sit wherever you like. As an incentive to bus your own table, they put a 0.50 euro deposit for any beer bottle you order. If you bring the bottle back to the bar you get your deposit back. Nice way to keep patrons motivated to bring back the bottles and clean up after yourself. I have to say the ambiance of the spot is a bit dark and eerie with the low lights and crazy ass art work on the walls. But one cool thing I noticed is it's DJ booth right at the entrance and they have a live DJ performing every night. Bartender was pretty nice and luckily spoke English so that it was easy to order and ask questions about the drinks which were all reasonably priced. Wouldn't say cocktails are their specialty here, but definitely more of a spot to just hang out at one of the many booths/tables, have a local beer, enjoy the music from the DJ, look at some crazy art, and maybe hit the ping pong table. Not sure I got much else for ya. 'Til next time, cheers! 221/365

I decided to get the sculpture - maker's mark whisky, walnuss, ahornsirup, sesam, schokolandenbitters. it was fun, but a lil too sweet for me. The hubby got the johnnie blue. Well done Berlin…read more If there's anything I love more than a good cocktail, it's an almost secret bar. A massive steel door conceals the magic within. Ring the doorbell to be let in. Brightly illuminated in red lights with the haze of cigarette smoke in the distance and loud music thumpin in your ears, Reingold is THE spot for locals and tourists alike. I heard a mix of international languages being spoken here and that made me sip my cocktail in great pleasure. The cocktail list is alluringly extensive and everything looks so GOOD. You can't go wrong with a floral Aviation, a citrusy Dartmoor Smash, a boozy Old Fashioned or gin martini (2 olives please!) and even a Vera Cruz that's dessert like with tequila and coffee is very well balanced. I made sure to chat up Shaba, our phenomenal bartender and after a couple of rounds, we were best friends. We ended the night with tequila shots on the house. EPIC. Thanks Reingold for a night we'll never forget. Prost!

4 Stars! Great Cocktails, but avoid if you are allergic to smoke!…read more We stumbled upon this cozy cocktail bar during our stay in Kreuzberg. Missing the cocktail bars in Brooklyn, this felt just like Home as soon as we walked in. The cocktail menu is vast but the host was able to narrow it down for us based on our alcohol of choice and general preference. The cocktails were all fantastic and the host (wish I remembered her name) was great! Minus one star only for the cloud of smoke inside - it is a relatively small bar and closed and smoking is allowed inside. It was a bit uncomfortable towards the end but the cocktails eased the pain!
