5 Stars - Highly Recommend!…read more I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the Pistol Certificate class at Safe and Secure! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease, which was a huge deal for me--I came in with a real fear of guns. Dan, our instructor, completely transformed that fear into confidence and respect through his patient and professional approach. Dan is simply incredible. He has a calm, non-intimidating teaching style that puts even the most nervous students (like me!) at ease. He never rushed the process, took his time with each of us individually, and ensured that we understood the safety procedures, handling, and mechanics of a firearm before moving on. I never felt pressured or overwhelmed at any point during the training. One of the standout things about this class is how thorough and hands on it is. Dan not only explained the laws and safety rules clearly but also guided us step-by-step through all the state and local paperwork required to obtain our gun permits. He made sure everything was filled out correctly and answered every question with patience and clarity. What really impressed me was how focused the course was on safety, responsibility, and proper mindset. This wasn't just about checking a box to get a permit--this was real education and empowerment. By the end of the class, I felt confident, informed, and prepared--not just to legally own a firearm, but to handle one safely and respectfully. I'm honestly looking forward to taking more advanced classes with Dan and his wife in the future. If you're looking into getting your pistol permit, or if you're nervous like I was, don't hesitate, this is the class to take. You'll walk out smarter, safer, and stronger. Thank you for a great class and thank you for serving!

Attorney Mike Boynton is one of the best criminal lawyers in the New Haven County. He helped me…read moreresolve very complicated cases and achieved the best possible outcome for me. Before him, I worked with two other different lawyers, but I didn't feel they had that level of experience and familiarity about the local court system. As I said, my two cases were very complicated, I need the best lawyers to help me get out of the dark time. After doing my research, I learned Mike served as the public defender in Connecticut court system for a long time before, he was very familiar how things work in the local court systems. He knows how to deal with each prosecutor and each Judge because he worked with them before and had a lot of interactions and collaborations before. I interviewed Mike Boynton on October 2019, and immediately fired my previous attorneys and let Mike represent me. From the beginning, Mike communicated to me clearly about our goal which was to get the very difficult cases dismissed without leaving me a single record, and a list of things that we need to do in order to get there. He got me a step by step plan. I trusted him 100%, and followed his plan. After working together for 2 years (of course, Covid19 has shut down the court system for one year), today, he finally got both prosecutor and Judge on-board to get my cases dismissed. You know what, from the beginning, the other two lawyers I worked with told me I may get a misdemeanor record, then after 7 years I can apply to get the misdemeanor expunged by the state. While I could not afford any criminal record as it will be devastating to my career, so I kept looking, I was lucky that I found Attorney Mike Boynton, he got my difficult cases dismissed and he saved my career and saved my life. I can't thank him enough. For anyone who is dealing with the difficult situations, you need to find a great lawyer who knows how to work with each prosecutor and judge, that took years and years to build up that level of relationship and experiences. Mike is also a great person, over the two years working together, we built up the trust and friendship. He really cared about me and thought about my best interest. Mike is a true 5 star attorney, I share my experience here in hope of anyone who is trapped in the difficult situation like me before may connect with Mike to see if Mike can help find a way out. I know when I was in my dark time, the level of stress and the level of despair almost killed me. After 2 years, today, I finally was able to get the cases dismissed. Again I can't thank you enough, Attorney Mike Boynton.

We have YET to receive the refund. Also, when Covid has gotten so bad and my wife as a nurse thought it would be best for us to not take the class. I emailed Peter multiple times to ask for a refund (I understand he has a no refund policy) my wife and I thought he would be understanding by this since she is around people with Covid all the time, and we were doing what was best for us and keeping people in the class safe. I to this day still have no received my refund nor have a received a email reply. I have called his office multiple times but I am getting no call back. Very disappointed. Not a place I would recommend for someone to go. I didn't know it would be that hard to see that my wife goes through seeing people with Covid and putting her life on the line, and Peter can't even give us our refund. So sad.

Save yourself the trouble and stay away! Our experience with Stu makes me question his…read morequalifications, and that's putting it nicely. We had mistakes in our previous years' tax returns. They were very minor, but not comforting knowing the person we rely on for this is making mistakes. When we asked him about what happened, he brushed it off as no big deal...okay fine, we moved past it. This year, he provided us with withholding consultation, which we paid extra for, that was WAY off. We noticed the inconsistencies in early April and brought them to his attention, to which he requested we follow up after tax season (understandable). We then met with him when schedules allowed, and it was clear he was completely lost on how our income works, and let me tell you, it's not that complex at all! He then had the nerve to ask us to pay for these services again! When I questioned him on this and reminded him that we had already paid for these services and that he missed the mark, he completely ghosted us. We left countless voicemails, sent a bunch of emails, and he would not respond. This went on over the course of 5 weeks, it was clear he was avoiding me. He never took the time to ask simple questions about our income and, even worse, made assumptions about how we earn our yealy incomes. He completely relied on this tax accounting software to do the work for him, and unfortunately for us, that still requires some level of competence... I'm writing this review to save others from the pain of having to go through this, do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere.
