However, it's handy for a post-Greyhound parcel of chips, and it seems to stay busy so it must be doing something right. The portions were a good size, though, and we did order when the takeaway was very new so perhaps they hadn't got up to full quality yet. I think the fact that Deedar have been going strong for a couple of years now probably means that they do have a loyal following of customers, however, so maybe our experience wasnt typical.

The food was tasty enough and certainly plenty of it, but it felt very British Indian, rather than real Indian food. They do deliver which is a bonus though and its located in a place pretty easy to get to. However my preference would always be with Helal for an Indian.
