The food is really tasty and seems as fresh as a takeaway can. I would recommend ordering ahead by phone and collecting the order swiftly from the Golden Wheel because the waiting area is quite small. However, there is parking available nearby in the Queen Street carpark (just make sure you buy a ticket if you park between 8-6, to avoid getting caught by the traffic warden).

The portions were a good size, though, and we did order when the takeaway was very new so perhaps they hadn't got up to full quality yet. I think the fact that Deedar have been going strong for a couple of years now probably means that they do have a loyal following of customers, however, so maybe our experience wasnt typical.
